Sorry to stray from the added "special" pizza toppings and cyber sex, but please name one up and comer CPF ever hired?

I think the man was paranoid of getting Johnnied, so he only had guys that he knew would be loyal to the CPF cause.

When RS stepped down, I remember we were going to conduct a nation-wide search for the best OC out there. That search never let Knox Co., and Cut was brought back.

He did hire Clawson, but that's the only hire like that that he made IIRC.

Well...Cut was a very good OC for Fulmer and who else would he hire over him in that situation. The other part is that nobody ever left since he was loyal to them. They knew they were safe, Fulmer wasn't going to fire anybody and certainly the assistant's weren't getting offers to move up elsewhere, except for Chavis. With all the time Fulmer was HC, our staff had to have had the least turn over in the history of college football.

Got me there, I really don't know about Penn State's staff. Yet, I will say that if ole Joe was in the SEC he would've been fired years ago for a lot of the same reasons that Phil was canned.
