That Bama had this day circled vs Georgia for several weeks? Is that why they may had a little let down earlier in the year? Have they been working on exposing Georgia’s d fense and thought other games were a given ?
Just a thought.

So they just knew they would be able to erase a 10 pt 4th quarter deficit on the plains and escape in 4 OT while looking ahead to Georgia?

I think Bama was down this year compared to previous years. What we saw in the SECCG was the impact that a great coach can have. Saban is probably the greatest head coach in the history of college football, like it or not. No doubt he's been watching UGA all season and figured out a gameplan to exploit their weaknesses. I hate to say it, but you have to give the devil his due.

Yeah, last year's Bama team was one for the ages...Just like LSU's team in 2019...

He just watched Heupels tape and watched how we were torching the secondary . He just has a better oline and Quarterback that consistently torched them. We just couldn’t consistently do it. We will though just be patient.

The difference was Bama's O-line. They simply could not figure out the correct 5. But the group that played the second half against the barn started yesterday, and it was like a whole new team.

I thought the same thing. Imagine what the Vols could’ve done with depth on the O-line and good pass pro and run blocking consistently throughout the game. Making 99 a non-factor. I believe there would’ve been a different outcome. Hopeful for the future!

Well I think that one reason the Auburn game looked so bad was the absence of Jamison Williams. Yeah up until the point he got ejected wasnt going great for Bama but that dude is a game changer. I think bama wins by 2 tds in regulation if he played the whole game.

Yeah, I'm sure our game was one he and his assistants got some help from, for sure.

OL was really the only difference. Hooker is not that far behind Young, if at all.

Could be a stretch...
I think Young won the Heisman last night

Well of course. Bama is a complete team, Hooker can’t do it all. A 26/3 ratio in td’s and interceptions is pretty dang good for not a full year taking snaps.

I think that Auburn always mans up for the Bama game, it means that much to them. It is the polar opposite to what Tennessee does against Florida.
