We are getting close to the embarrassment of riches we enjoyed in the mid 90's?
Does Dooley have what it takes to push us back to prominence?
This Alum hopes so. Thoughts???
Oh yeah, one more thing... I've never typed this before, but V, B!!!
I agree but the thing that scares me about Flarduh is that they're already putting together a very good (if not great) 2012 class. That bothers me considering that Muschump hasn't even coached a game yet (as a HC).
We are headed in the right direction, but you have to admit that it's tougher now than in the 90's. The coaching talent in the SEC overall is better than it was in the 90s. Saban, Richt, Petrino > Donan, Goff, Danny Ford
Again, please re-read the initial post in this thread. I'm not saying we're there, but what I am saying is these coaches appear to be exceptional talent evaluators. If they are as right about the rest of the kids they bring in as they are about Johnson, Maggitt, Harris, Coleman, etc... we have a chance to be a force in the not too distant future.

Not even close. Indeed, the gap in talent between us and the Big-5 in the SEC is greater now than in any era I can remember, and on pace to worsen, not get better.
