Well guys I'm getting kinda drunk, but the fact that I started P90x a couple days ago keeps me from being truly drunk. Everything still hurts.

I was kinda in this situation last year. Granted I'm younger but I dated a girl on and off for about 3 years (little under 2 years straight the last stretch) (and i dated a few other chicks too during the 3 years, but still liked the original one). Then she kinda started making me a backup plan to other guys after we broke up (day after valentines day...) . So finally I stopped talkin to her n she has had a boyfriend since summer but still has a thing for me but I knew if I went after her while she had a bf, I was just gonna set myself up to fail on that. So we talk every once in a while and still have a thing for eachother but realise it won't work (atleast at this time).

So I feel ya dude but u gotta move on. Honestly I still really like her but u gotta be rational n realize it won't work everytime n sometimes its better for both if u cut ties, atleast for a while

She was like maybe in a couple years we could be together. And I was like hell no. You aren't being with me when I graduate if you weren't there through the hard times. I got a few standards for myself. She won't even play me for a fool like that.

You're seeing the light. As time goes on without contact the heart heals and it becomes easier to move on. Trust me, I've been there.

I know how she likes having nice things. She plans on being a school teacher and I plan on being an engineer. So if she isn't there before I graduate I will have no problem saying F you.

I had a similar situation. It will be impossible to be close friends if you still love her. Move on and maybe you can be casual friend later on IMO.

That plain enough? Don't leave your heart out there to be stepped on over and over again. You have to think if she ever did care for you enough, maybe one day she will be back, or one year. It does happen. It happened to me, of course we both broke it off one time or another. One grandchild and three adult children later, well we are still together, get the picture. yeah, she's hot .. and if you knew what she's going to cost you in $$$ and in driving you nuts, you'd run the other way ....

we've all been there, and she seems like the most important thing to you .. she's not .. the girl that's right for you won't do what she's doing ..

you've got a whole lifetime in front of you ... get your degree, get a job, and the rest will take care of itself .....
