Is it our AD or Media that is the problem?

Our media seems so hungry to always get the headline story that they post inaccurate information based on a "source"

I was led to believe that Austin Thomas was out recruiting for us and that it was 100% a done deal. The media needs to stop posting stuff before our department introduces staff.

I am tired of our media posting stuff and then the national media sharing what our local media shares as truth. It makes us look like people are rejecting us left and right when really we just never had an agreement in the first place.

Local Media Does Not Care About Accuracy in Reporting as Long as They "Have Brought It To You First"

Both....

AD can't control the information Plus leaks by inaccurate sources.

The Media is so desperate to report the information they cannot report it accurately. Heard it here, first.

Message boards react to everything they hear and message it all.

The AD can't control Haslam and the media that's been used by him for over a decade. A real athletic department controls the local image of their school BC if you write an unsubstantiated hit piece in the program they pull your damn access. Only Tennessee allows this kind of garbage BC you have a incompetent billionaire and a bunch of liberal administrators with their nose in the mix.

I like the idea of media suspensions for all this crappy reporting. We have a student talent scout data mining group. Why cant we appoint some watchdogs to compile the false/too early media reports for phil? Surely this crap can be nixed.

Or... do we have another prospect lined up to be the next frank wilson and are playing games to get out of hiring austin thomas?

The way i see it if they dont hire a different coach by tues or wed they screwed up and there is no dream candidate lined up to take his place

Look at what some of their articles are based upon. SDS and 247 write articles based on tweets and who's following who on twitter. As long as you click on the link they will keep writing garbage. SDS writes the most garbage IMO. Not even just on Tennessee but other teams as well. They write articles based on rumors.

Dear Abby was the beginning of the end for "journalist". Columnist is where we get our "news".

Times like this it's best to blame the players. Better execution(A lot better according to some.) we could have made the playoffs.

I sure hope this gump works out and wins us(I'm trying to think of him as a gump traitor. I don't like it.) some Championships.

Always blame the players. They watch the film(I hope.) they know what's up.

Maybe with this gump, I won't know our first play from scrimmage until after we run it, not the Wednesday before.

I want a defense that recognizes what they are doing and says,"Here it comes.", then blows the play up.

Someone needs to designate a safe space for some of you with fragile feelings.

I always thought the safe spaces were for those with no feelings.

It's still the "snowflakes" that want "safe places". Right?

The term "snowflake" is very complex and confusing.
I have found that those who love to use it the most turn out to be bigger ones themselves.
Humor out of hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy is always funny. The best is how some of the hypocrites point out all the hypocrisy.

I don't any more.

Point out hypocrisy, I'm still a hypocrite.
