For white guys to greet each other over the phone or in person with:
"Whatup nigga"

For a couple of my friends, they watched Chappelle and started saying it. An outsider friend got pissed yesterday and called my buddy a racist. Buddy just laughed.

Honest question. Would like to know thoughts of grizz, nerd, Ron and more of my dark we brethren.

Apologies if someone is offended, and answer quickly because this thread will be damned to banland for being insensitive, more than likely.

Warning:

Serious Post follows:

Although not offensive, it is in very bad taste and shows a lack of respect and intelligence. That goes for anyone, not just white people.

I hear you.

Though they aren't stupid and wouldn't say it if it weren't for their chappelle love. I know they don't mean it as racist in any form.

I disagree with it being a lack of respect and ignorant, but thats just my opinion. If this particular word is followed by and "errr" sound and said in a certain manner, I agree 100%.

If two white people say the N-word and no black person is around to give them this look:

scaled.php

Is it still racist?

Not a big deal, but they can probably find a new way to great each other. It's perception vs. reality. Just because they don't take offense to it someone else can even if it's not their intent

The real question is do yall say it when a black person is in hearing distance?

Hell no. Dude might get pissed.
I still get called crigga by a couple of longtime black friends and "my nigga" by a couple of others, and cracka by others. All in fun. I would never get pissed.
