Is it just me, or will 2012 be one of the stronger years for SEC QB's?

Bray
Tyler Wilson
McCarron
Murray
Driskell
James Franklin
Shaw
Frazier
Mettenberger

I see promise in just about all of these guys for next season. Also I think Bray, Wilson, and Murray would be the top 3 in whatever order

I think Tyler Wilson is the most overrated quarterback in college football

Except I think James Franklin is a tight end. Well, probably not so tight since he and Travis hooked up.

OP, I think it is just you. After the top three guys the league is filled with a bunch of what if's. None of the other QB's have done anything to make people think they are legit big time QB's. The overall QB play in the SEC will continue to be suspect at best. That is one of the main reasons a team like UT, which has a top teir QB, has a chance to upset a few teams and finish higher than expected.

We'll see how good Wilson is without freaks at WR

I agree, but don't sleep on James Franklin.

Why? What has he done? Nothing

Why so critical? He really hasn't had the opportunity. I'm not usually a Bray defender, but hell yeah I'd take him over any of the others. The only one I'd think about would MAYBE be Murray.

Murray is too streaky for me. Bray will prove himself this year against some bigger competition. Not a doubt in my mind

That McCarron kid is pretty good in his own right

But he loses Maze and the TE.

I don't think McCarron is bad, he's just not going to get the chance to show off his skills all that much. That's a testament to how well Bama recruits TBs.
