Sad thing is Butch ran off the best kicker in the nation, Gantz. He's the kicker at Cincy that's money! If he isn't leading the nation then he's real close. Top 5 anyway. Kid was all set to come here, but then Butch took Medley and told Gantz to look elsewhere.

Actually, George couldn't hit the side of the barn in his senior year of high school. But, Dooley had offered him a scholarship after his decent junior year and decided to stick with it. It was, at best, a curious decision.

My guess is that Aaron is much, much, much better in practice. To perhaps help get him out of this slump, we might try George in Lexington. But, Aaron is still probably the long term solution.

Medley was really good at Marshall County High School (Lewisburg, TN). I thought he was definitely going to be a four year starter for the Vols. And, he did ok last year. Obviously, in a slump this year. He will probably come out of it; just gotta keep kicking. Perhaps try Bullock on the first field goal attempt in Lexington.
