Medley cost us the game today. I hope he sleeps well...

Bottom line - he does not deserve to wear the orange and represent the great state of TN on the football field.

I think its safe to say the game was on him, that was great coached game, Dobbs had a good game, Hurd and Kamara had a good game, defense played a hell of a game, we left 9 points on the board

He needs to be replaced asap. He wasn't even close on any of the kicks and he's been inconsistent since he's been here. We can't replace him this year but we need to bring someone else in next year.

I hate to say this since Lincoln is a SEAL but Medley kicks exactly like him.

Can't believe I have to respond to this but...enough. You wouldn't do any better. Don't kill the kicker...you will need him. If we get another kicker fine...but don't publicly attack a kicker. We depend on him and everyone can have a bad game.

plus a lot of kickers were bad early in their careers. If the kid comes out and wins the game the rest of the way out you will/should feel like a heal.

All of his fgs were over 40. He's just not a good kicker over 40. He's never been a good kicker over 40. He's doing the best he can.

If Tennesee had got the ball is to the 20 and kicked fgs they would have won. Gotta get the ball where your player can kick it. The one before the half was a gamble and frankly was only attempted due to Hurds great run. Otherwise Tennessee would have punted there back to Bama

We should at least give someone else a shot or go for it from here on out. Going for it will have the same effect as kicking from 40+

Exactly! He missed two 50 yarders! Those are difficult at any level. He needs our support now more than ever! He is a student athlete, treat him like that!

Medley did not singlehandedly jack up the game. I saw our o- line fold like a deck of cards in the final two minutes, Dobbs fail to read sacks, and our secondary has to improve. It's easy to blame the kid because it's such an obvious scoring play, but take a step back.

I agree he needs to improve, get his head together, or maybe be replaced but this loss isn't single handedly on his shoulders.

With a head case kicker. Represents Butch perfectly. 8-4 or 7-5, it doesn't matter. Anyway you look at it, it's year three and just another season with one meaningful win.
