1) Angry fan base after a loss to an opponent we historically dominate.

2)Season opening game in Atlanta against an ACC opponent

3)Breaking in a new coordinator with little experience.

4) Star WR in trouble for pot in the offseason.
5) Recruiting class in the teens not warmly received by elements of the fan base.
6) New secondary coach
I know the situations aren't exactly the same, but it definitely feels like there are some disturbing similarities.

Butch just said he had to turn away more players than he's ever had to do in recruiting this year, so do you trust Butch Jones or is he just a spin master?:popcorn:

Maybe we should make "Feels like '12" shirts for this season to replace the "Feels like '98" shirts from this past season.

Too bad we can't get a bunch of fans on here to take over the team, since they obviously know so much more than any of the coaches.

I know.
If it weren't for stupid Vol fans complaining about coaches Dooley would be working on his 5th straight national championship this year.

Who said one word about knowing the outcome of the games? I simply pointed out the similarities in the offseason events and the state of the program.

I am very confident that this fan based has nothing to do with coaching changes or gameplans. It is very proud of its steeped history, profound knowledge, and personnel prowess, but the VN fan base is not coaching or recruiting capable.

Oh sorry I didn't realize you weren't making a prediction. I assumed that you just cherry picked 6 lame similarities to reduce Butch to Dooley and predict a crappy season to unite negavols in a new thread. My bad, carry on

And I assumed when I created the thread that I was addressing adults with at least intermediate reading comprehension skills. I guess we were both wrong.
