Is Heupel incapable of seeing what needs to be done? Or is it something else?

I have been a huge Heupel defender. I really like him as a coach but that like is wearing thin now. I can handle giving up points and yards to UGA and Bama. They have tons of elite play makers. But giving up almost 300 yards and 21 points to a bottom feeder like UK?

Surely Heupel sees what needs to be done right? He HAS TO right? Or is he simply incapable of seeing it? I would have no issue with firing Banks at halftime and letting Inge call the defense the rest of the way. Would it be a disaster? Could it be much worse? If Heupel doesn’t get rid of Banks at seasons end then, and I cannot believe I am saying this, I want him gone.

This defensive performances are unacceptable and embarrassing.

Turentine is one of the worst safeties I’ve seen wear orange and white. He is fundamentally terrible. Hes slow, takes bad angles, never looks at what he’s hitting an rarely wraps up. I am confused as to why he’s in the game
Because they let the starter go to Miami...

The problem CJH has is the success (second year) he had right out of the gate. Had he been like Butch and just threw away a few years, the expectations would not be what they are. This system of plug and play players (offense mostly) and QB’s at that is why he is so good.

Take Jones, Dooley and Pruitt with these players and the W/L records would be horrible.

Imagine Butch dealing with Nico’s dad

I know I'm ready for Boo to transfer. He's been half assing it all damn night
Yeah in hindsight, we might should have let the diva walk. Maybe coaches will prove us wrong and coach him up, but he's been half a ing it all year as far as I can tell. Haven't watched film, but from a live perspective, I think he's been a part of several coverage breakdowns in crucial times. I know it's popular to give #4 a hard time. Personally, I think Redmond is going to be a baller, and it up playing in the NFL.

How bout now?
And see that’s the problem. We get up on a team that we should be able to shut out by all part and say see-look at this team now when a half hour ago we looked like a mid major team. Beating Ky isn’t anything to point to as an accomplishment. They’re 2-4 with a coach who wishes a meteor would strike the planet
