Is Frost even an option?

I don't know. If these pieces fall then Midwest recruiting will be different. Last 15 years best option our there was Oklahoma. Now Stoops retires. Then if Gundy leaves for Tennessee and Bill Snyder is definitely retiring or worse soon. So Scott Frost at Nebraska would be a good option for those kids to play big time football.

Good point. I’ve driven through Nebraska numerous times going from Chicago to Denver and it is without a doubt the most boring state in the country. I can’t imagine that any kid would have them as first choice. But Frost is a hell of a coach and if anyone can do it he can.

I would really like to see Tennessee wait until this weekend so they can talk to Frost. I admire him because he is focused on his team and totally concentrating on helping his team win. No distractions! The same way we would want our coach to be if we were playing for a conference championship! I think he is the best hire out there that we might have a shot at. With the right approach and the right amount of money, you never know. He would be interested when he heard 6M and 6M for your coaching staff. I guarantee it! Nebraska would have to match or beat our offer.

The early bird gets the worm. Nebraska is getting their guy and so are we.

#1, he’s very serious about winning the Conference championship and going undefeated at UCF, and as a result, not talking to anyone.

#2, he’s Nebraska bound.

Nebraska can be successful with the same approach as Wisconsin and Michigan State. Too many people in sec country feel like you have to recruit top 5 classes every year to be relevant, and that's just not the case. Just think, When was the last time either of those schools had a higher ranked class than UT? When was the last time UT had a better team than them? I'm cool with a guy that can put a system in place and develop players.

I bet UCF increases his salary by 20% and adds 3 more years on his contract. He gets additional bonuses if UCF wins the Conference Championahip and if they win their bowl game even more. So look for him to get more than a million more if this is accomplished.
