Is Fla. better than Cal?

If florida plays cal in the beginning of the season, I think Cal would win just because of Florida's inexperience. But Florida would win later in the season. If Tenn played cal later in the season i would think tenn would win.

FLORIDA does not have the speed we saw at EVERY skill position as Cal.......

I think the Cal defense if much better than the Gators.

I think the Cal offense is better not, but may not be after Tebow has 6-8 games under his belt.

That translates into a UT victory!

I don't think it matters to us regarding which team is better. We might match up better with UF than we do with Cal but that doesn't mean that the Gators are the better team. Plus we will be playing in the rain versus UF as opposed to sunny conditions on artificial turf for Cal, so I don't think you will be able to draw any real conclusions after Saturdays game.

Florida is just as fast at wide receiver. Not as fast at Running back, but I would love to see Longshore race Tebow. The UF defense is much faster.

Cal's defense was so good that we scored 31 points on offense and all we did was 5 yard passes. I didn't watch USM, but I'm assuming we at least did some other stuff. If we do screens the whole time, we won't get 21.

Florida has better more highly recruited players then Cal. I think Meyer is a better coach too.

Cal has more experienced players on their team thats it.

That really has nothing to do with it. Maybe our game against Cal was a choke. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe Florida will choke on us. Likely they won't. But regardless, I suspect that because of the rivalry, the Vols will have their head in the game more against the gators than they did against Cal.
