How long Til smokey request a release? Damn our team in a whole leaving. I support coach T, but who plays next year.

Maybe he'll have some open tryouts and some VN'ers will get a chance to show the rest of us they know that of which they speak.

Ok, let me take the negative out of this.

1. Normally this time of year, I pay much attention to stuff on Vol news. Really it's only football recruiting until fall usually. Now we are recruiting an entire BBall team. At least it isn't boring.

2. At least we won't have years of saying these aren't Donnie's recruits. This team will at least be 75% his team on year 1. Will still need 2 full recruiting cycles to know what kind of coach we got, but we can't really say these are Martins people.

3. He seems to have a plan. Really was thinking we wouldn't have room for the people he wanted to sign, but I see 5 more people we realistically can sign with 2 more this week.

4. Honestly wasn't excited about the recruiting class coming in. Austin and Cofer were going to be decent, but I saw us missing the tourney and fighting for .500. I thought Martin was signing 3 people that might contribute in a year or two. Now I have absolutely no idea of how we will do. Literally no idea. If he picks up Suarez, Carmichael and Ellis and either Chilles, Owens or Mitchell we have a net positive gain in talent over what we had coming.

Poll the student body and see if anyone would be willing to play basketball for 50 dollars per month and free meals !!

Is it that the players and the one's who signed their LOI are bailing because they don't like the way the administration treated Martin OR is if that there is something in Tyndall that they don't like????

Ok ok I'll play I still have three years of eligibility left, played one yr of college ball, I'm a 6'4 hybrid 4 who can shoot the three. I may not be very tall but I'm also slow can't jump and put on 40 lbs since I played in college. Think I have a shot volnation?
