Is Contract Public, can UT Sue?

So what does this mean for the university? They literally have zero footing? Tennessee has to just sit back and wait to see what happens? If Tennessee isn't involved, how are they involved in negotiations? Are they not? If a player just decides to not show up for practices, or team requirements are they just voluntarily "quitting"?
It means the players have most of the power unless if the school really wants to keep them. The collective is what does the negotiating and paying. The school just helps them get in touch like a middle man in the deal. As far as if they don’t show up I guess it depends on the reason for them not showing up. Wanting more money good for them but doing it two years in a row yes he quit. He needs to go out and perform better to get paid.

If UT isn't involved in any way, we wouldn't be charged a "talent fee" with our season tickets. I realize that's to fund the retroactive settlement with the NCAA but the athletic program is 100% involved in these deals.
The talent fee is preemptive due to rulings that go into effect in a year or two. We are just getting ahead of the game. Right now the negotiations are still between the athlete and the collectives the school just plays the middle man in getting the deals. TN just didn’t think Nico was worth what he was wanting for how he performed last year and I agree. He was becoming over throw Nico.
