What is Josh Heupel’s salary at Tennessee? How much he makes, his bonuses and buyouts
Josh Heupel is in his second year of a 7-year contract with Tennessee. He ranks as the 10th highest paid coach in college football. Here are his contract details.www.knoxnews.com
You never give anyone a lifetime guaranteed deal. When there's no concern about losing the job, you remove incentive. Human nature makes me consider that some individuals might take their foot off the gas and start to coast. Consider Jimbo. Look at how Freeze lost his stinger. Lifetime contracts are idiotic. Anyone who does it deserves what inevitably comes.I'm against lifetime contracts.
I wouldn't have protested if Pruitt or Butch had gotten the death penalty. Some of you zealots would have executed Dooley, though, and it's just wrong to kill a simpleton.
The moral line is too arbitrary for lifetime contracts.
True and I wasn't really speaking of the money as he is set. More about security! Heck to be honest if my/any job gave me a lifetime contract I would probably be inclined occasionally to show up late and then leave early to make up for it haha.Dude's getting 9 million squares per year currently
1000 percent agree !!!!I'm assuming this thread was created due to the "lifetime" contract given to Rick Barnes. You need to keep in mind, the lifetime contract for Rick Barnes is more symbolic than anything. He's 71 years old and most likely going to retire within the next 3-5 years anyway. He's not leaving Tennessee to go start over somewhere else. Huepel is still a relatively young coach and as others have pointed out, its never a good idea to take a coach's incentive away to perform. It's bad enough already with all the ridiculous buyout clauses.
Where from that article link are you getting that he doesn’t have an agent?Heupel has a sweet deal. No agent? Thats +6-10 percent right there.
