I don't understand why he would recruit any QB that isn't a running QB I mean Baker Mayfield was a walk on why did he not find him if he is good at recruiting he would fit nice in Butch's offense. What got Butch is star gazing thinking he can make a player play his style and he never adjust to the player's style .

Except that he has a winning record overall and on the season at UT.

If they want other coaches to seriously consider taking the job at UT they need to be able to successfully argue that they gave Butch every opportunity to be successful at UT.

Firing a coach with a winning record after one really bad loss makes UT look impetuous and arbitrary.

They need to give Butch enough rope to hang himself so other coaches will take this job seriously.

No shame in anyone losing to Bama but if they put up another embarrassing home loss today, I think they should pull the plug just to try and salvage a bowl game.

Yes. Enjoy watching the last CBJ game. Well..enjoy is a hard word when South Carolina curb stomps this team in Neyland. It's going to be sad.

Butch is in a bad spot.

If JG comes out here and doesn't play well, he looks like he pulled the trigger on QB too early (or too late).

If JG comes out and plays great, he looks like he can't recognize when a player, especially at QB, gives the team the best chance to win.

It's almost a lose-lose situation unless he wins the rest (minus Alabama, which most will write off as a game against a much more talented and better coached team).

As for me, I'm behind the team regardless. But Butch has to beat Muschamp. CWM is not a good coach and this is not a good SC team.

So far in the game, we are still unable to finish things off. No TDs inour trips to the red zone. Some encouraging signs, though. Hope it keeps getting better. The play calling is still not great. I think our OC is horrendous at this point.

Yep he is done, but probably not till the end of the season unfortunately we have to continue seeing his face for now. This is like watching a train wreck week after week. I have plenty of things to do, but I still have to watch no matter how much I hate watching Butch coach my team.

I think this is ridiculous. EVERYONE in the media knows he is gone. Everyone understands why. Cause he stinks. Coaches aren't coming here because of rainbows and good support after loss, they are coming here to make that cheddar! And to do what their profession asks for, with talent and facilities.

I rescind all my previous comments. We look completely inept on offense in the 2nd half and that's on Jones and his OC Scott

This is a stupid thread, but I'll respond because I can... CBJ is done. I told y'all if we loose to Mus-Chump we are in really bad shape. I wouldn't hire him for county dog catcher. Are you watching this game...they are worn out, tired and frustrated! I'm frustrated!!!
