There is no "in the running." Anyone that thinks a decision is not already made on the next coach is still living in the world of Mike Hamilton. The fact that no search firm will be involved is further proof that Currie is acting instead of reacting.

GO BIG ORANGE!
Source on the no coach firm part?

i didn't vote for him for president and i didn't care for him as governor of new jersey. Shutting down the beaches so his family could be there alone was not a good move. So, i sure don't want him to be the next hbc at tennessee!!

lol!!!

No. Absolutely not, under any circumstances. I don't care if be blows out LSU and Vandy by a combined score of 150-0. Hoke should not be considered.

I am not in favor of hiring Hoke. I just listened to the press conference. I was less than impressed. He was asked about his future. Her said he and Currie had a long discussion so since he has a year at Tennessee you can't throw out the possibility. That was the point of this thread. By the way federal court is getting a new case for my detractors. It is a long process.

The guy was a national coach of the year. Michigan is not Tennessee. You naysayers evidently have not read the bio. Bio on facts, not emotion.

And? Michigan is right up there with UT in terms of prestige and history and boosters and fan support.

The guy had the Big 10 ready for the taking and couldn't do it, then Meyer showed up and really shut the door on him.

Again, Michigan has just as many advantages that TN has and yet he couldn't win there. You really think he'd do better at UT? In the SEC?
