There is some of that on this board but also just people concerned about the program. If DD wants to go another direction, that's fine, he may very well do one better. I like DD but what he does is not above scrutiny. I had enough of that with the last staff. Every time someone questioned why Lane did something or thought one of his decisions was questionable they were crucified for it. Some might have deserved it but some brought up legitimate concerns that were immediately dismissed.

Your right Hat I had another Lame moment. Who is the third Rate Hack. Kiffin, Ausmus or Dooley? I been getting what I deserved for years. No need to go postal. Somewhere I went from the top and worked my way to the bottom. It must have been my 5th wife that did it to me.

I think DD made the decision day's ago. Now that I think back.

what the hell does it matter we've had 3 strength coaches in 2 years. who cares do the recruits care ?????? i dont think so . if dooley wants someone else thats the way it should be remember its his show so watch and shut up.

Seems like another convenient reason for the "detractors" to blast a decision they disagree with and point to it as further evidence of our new coach's incompetence. Fact is, no one on here knows the details. I trust the HC, even though AA seemed like a perfectly fine S&C coach, but people need to quit living and dying everyday over what happens when a coaching change is thrust upon the program. When one door closes, another will open.

utsports.com still has ausmus listed as s&c coach. Think if he was leaving they would have pulled it. Atleast thats what they have been doing.

With all the injuries we saw last year, one must wonder what kind of balance AA placed on the importance of strength vs. the importance of conditioning.

How is questioning a decision by the new head coach calling him incompetent? I know the rest of this story. You are not a true Vol fan at all. You need to find another team to root for. This reminds me of the good ole days with Coach Lane (Jesus Christ) Kiffin. I like DD, I think this decision is a mistake but I like him regardless. I was behind Lane even when I thought he called a terrible game in the bowl and I'm behind DD even though he doesn't want A. Dang, its 1930,s Germany all over again.
