This was the post

From 3HL

. @UTCoachHoke says through consultation with Tennessee AD John Currie, he has decided to dismiss TN WR Jauan Jennings from the program.

Congrats Currie and Hoke. Sounds like JJ is headed for success in life.

So many questions about his rant:

* If playing Saturday prevents him from obtaining a medical redshirt, why play him?
* This same player has been absent since getting hurt. Has he supported his teammates and the program during that time?
* Do we know if he was even been cleared by the trainers to play?
* Has he practiced at all since week 1?

I would expect a player to utilize more common sense with a new coaching staff coming in. He is not doing himself any favors with this act.

It doesn't have to be adults. I'm sure he has a ton of college friends and teammates that start talking about the post on social media and it becomes a popular subject and everyone see it.

Who cares if it is an adult looking what one of our top players is doing or up to anyway?

It's kinda weird that you think it's weird to begin with honestly.

Im thankful i didnt have social media growing up for two reasons.

1. So i couldnt record myself making a fool of myself for it to stay on the net forever.
2. So creepy old men couldnt follow me and think its normal.

Because i think its weird to follow kids on social media?

Maybe you're just old and out of the loop.:p That's the normal thing to do. That's how you see what's going on around the world and interact with people. It's there to get a message out to the world. There's nothing weird about it.

The real question is why aren't you following him?

Not sure why there is so much criticism for Jennings. What he said fits in seamlessly with the narrative of players leaving in the past few years, which paints a picture of an unethical staff that doesn't do what they promise in recruiting, that lies once the player gets here, etc. We assumed that the problems were more or less isolated to Butch Jones's toxicity, but perhaps the problems run deeper. John Kelly, our most successful player who gets all the playing time that he wants, begged for UT to hire a coach who is honest. What does that tell you?

If you are upset with the management where you work, do you go to social media and voice your displeasure? If you try this, you will find yourself unemployed. It is ok to be upset with the coaches, but new ones are coming. By continuing to trash the coaches and administration, he is most likely (if not already) to be dismissed.

I follow sporting news, no need to follow the kids in their personal life.

Sadly, JJ thinks what he did is acceptable in a civilized society because its validated by all his "followers." No thanks, there is no reason for a grown man to follow a college kid that you are not kin to.

I don't follow the players on social media, but the players do like having 1000s of followers....

I agree completely with you on point #1.

To wit, Juaun,Butch wasn't the only coach here to "suckit".If you listened to his diatribe, frustration, and flat out anger(pissed off) is his passion for UT and football.

I'm beginning to think the new coach will inherit a bare cupboard or at least one that is barely stocked better than the one Dooley left.

The interim coach shoudn't make a single decision on players other than who is in the game for Vandy. Currie is an awful AD for approving the booting if it was only for what Jennings said.

Also, it's amazing this clown show coaching staff was allowed to stay as long as it was. It may be the worst and most destructive we've ever had, if not ever in the SEC. Apparently DeBord left after last year because they were clowns and he saw it.

So you follow a college kid on the chance that he is going to say football related stuff or does he send out some sort of bat symbol that he is about to say something football related then you start following?

Give it a rest dude you can be ridiculous at times..

Probably for the best. We don’t need someone talking like this representing our university. This will keep the media from bashing us even more.

Anybody who thought this kid was going to stay around after what he did today is either delusional or a complete and total idiot. Or probably never had a job with responsibility beyond sweeping the floors ,,,,the AD did exactly 100% what he should’ve done !!

I’m glad he was kicked off. He said the n word every other sentence. I’ve got third grade students who look up to these players. Obviously hasn’t been going to class based on his grammar anyway.
