Other than grocery store chains and healthcare, what’s industries are hiring?

I’m looking to move back to America from South Florida. Preferably ATL, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, Raleigh.

If you were leaving 10 years of owning your own business and we’re around 40- what would you do?

That would depend on a bunch of things:

What are your long term goals?
What is your skill set?
Married? If so does your spouse work?
Kids?
And a bunch of more factors......

Lot of places have hiring freezes right now. There’s going to be a lot of uncertainty until this shakes out. So there may be jobs posted but my guess is they’re not proceeding with them at the moment.

My sister's business is building out high speed internet to high-end, rural developments and they are making a killing right now.

I think this is an amazing idea helps out Volunteers alumni and fans. I went to Texas A&M before I transferred over to University of Tennessee and I was told if you have a ring from TAMU, then most businesses in Texas hold that in high regards.

IT or working an admin role there is typically always hiring. Admin just because of the weird hours and extra shifts.

Especially AI related IT. When the robots take everybody's job there will still be a need for artificial intelligence experts to keep the robots from terminating all of the humans.

Seriously though, AI in IT professionals will be lucrative for the next wave of technology.

BTW, I wonder what all of the certified Novell dudes are doing these days? They were able to name their price 25 years ago.
