You certainly can post anything you like on a message board. One would hope grace and decorum might temper your responses, even on this message board.
Meh
I don’t mind the speculation but posting hear say about someone’s personal life is out of bounds.

If Ainge was a poster this would be out of line.

As a member of the media this is fair game.

Hate to see it though.

They say Fame is a cruel mistress.

When I was young, I believed that was because it's hard to hold her attention.

As I've gotten older, I've come to realize it's really about the price you pay for being in the public spotlight. What seems enticing before you gain it, and intoxicating in the first few days and months you experience it, turns into a prison you have trouble escaping.

Cruel, indeed.

Sure he's a public figure, and by choice, but let's give Eric what privacy we can, eh?

p.s. Okay, I looked it up, and they actually say TIME is a cruel mistress. But Fame is too, dammit. Heh :)

Im sorry, Its no disease. Ive never seen a disease where you have to get in your car and drive to a specific location and make a purchase.
Sorry, but we disagree here - addiction, in any form, is flat out a disease.
Per Webster - "a particular quality, habit, or disposition regarded as adversely affecting a person or group of people "

You are 100% wrong, it may be a choice in the beginning but it turns into a very deadly disease. I'd hate to see the actual numbers across the US. It also doesn't discriminate, it can ruin the BEST of people. Speaking from experience. I hope and pray for EA! I know I sure needed the extra prayers

Addiction is disease like. No clue if thats case. Imagine the strength it takes to stay off those opiates once addicted. They are horrible.
Choice is a fickle mistress. Researcher said that alcohol can change the chemistry in the brain (and I will tentatively add that it likely the case with 'some' drugs). Some choices are a lot like Russian roulette. Gambling on wine, women and drugs ... to treat you right ... is just a poor choice! While it was initially a choice ... it is no longer a simple choice after the chemistry in us has changed. Addictions are a cruel task master.
