Is 7-5 season with a bowl looking actually possible - or do we choke?

What does the regular season look like now?

Figure
-1 Bama strongly favored to win
-1 Missouri favored to win
+1 UT favored over Auburn
+1 UT favored over Vandy
+1 UT strongly favored over Kentucky
--------------------
= 7-5 season

First time since 2009 - Might actually have someone to watch during the holidays :groupwave:

Gotta tell you guys - if you dont have some respect for Butch after almost winning against #6 team (no matter how beat up) and WINNING against #11 then you are just flat out nuts

So after this, butchaters - please do volnation a favor and piss off.

I'm thinking 8-4 but maybe that's wishful thinking on my part . I'm still not sold on Mizzou

No matter how your season ends I would delete the word "choke" from your vocabulary. When we played you guys I could see the talent on the field. The players needed direction and discipline and Butch Jones has provided both. Celebrate today. You all earned it big time, big time.

I think Tennessee beats Auburn,Vanderbilt and Kentucky while losing to Alabama and Missouri. I think Tennessee goes 6-6 and makes a trip to Memphis to play in the Liberty Bowl.

Thanks sir.

I was coming to say the same thing. Choke would be an inappropriate word, unless we lose to Kentucky.

Mizzou is looking dang good, even with a back up QB. Auburn is not the 2 win team they were last year (ranked 24th) and Vandy is not a push over unfortunately. Kentucky however, is. I think we beat Vandy and Kentucky and get to 6 and 6 and go to the music city bowl again

VOLS end up 6-6 with a toilet bowl

Really? This team has missed going to a bowl the last 2 seasons. Winning 6 games and going to a bowl is good period; you shouldn't be looking at it like that.

Tennessee over Mizzou would be a bigger upset than Tennessee over SCar, IMO.

If Franklin was healthy, I would agree. It's a hard choice with Mizzou being an away game, but I would still pick SCar as bigger because Shaw played the vast majority of the game.

Having said that, if Shaw is out for the season, SCar will be in trouble against Mizzou.

Dont get me wrong, ANY bowl is fantastic and frankly, if you had told me that we would have had any bowl at the start of the season I would have thought you were dreaming.

But there is a difference between the Cotton bowl and the Music City bowl :eek:k:
