She exercised her 5th to get immunity later. Smart move....Will be very smart if she does get the immunity offer and ends up saying she is solely responsible.

Flat tax wont work. Right now we got the same income subject to different increasing graduated rates. If we had one rate, democrats would eventually argue that certain groups, activities or income should not be subject to the flat rate because of fairness. The result would be the current equation of base x different rates to be transposed into different bases x 1 rate. In other words, no difference.

Kind of ironic to have an equal tax rate for all that would be construed as unfair. 15% sounds good for all of us.

If that's not equal for all then I guess the new demlib common core education can say one's view or arrival at a number shall suffice to pay your own taxes.

On the contrary , it shows mr Cummings lack of procedural etiquette , I would designate him the a-hole.he had his chance to speak, he's done everything possible to hamper the investigation.

Issa gave a rambling 15minute speech and wanted to prevent anyone from asking questions or giving their own statements.

Know why?

Because the ENTIRE intent of the committee meeting was for Issa to give his speech!!

LOL, you defenders of Issa need to realize he is at this point far below the Clinton impeachment leadership, all of whom got run out on rails once that was over. Issa is the GOP do-boy on this. He got the headlines and the love form Fox, but as this fig dries up and produces nothing, his lame efforts to keep it in the fore just look more and more desperate every time.

I loathe Cummings. But he did a masterful job letting Issa do what Issa does best -- make himself look mean, petty, and prove that the investigation is nothing more than a platform for Issa's personal, albeit brief, fame.

no one is specifically defending Issa. However this is something that absolutely needs to be investigated and he's leading the charge. Dems do not want to know the truth so they attempt to take the discussion somewhere besides where it needs to be - the current admin using the IRS to persecute their opposition.
