Boy oh boy are the jeniuses out today. Nobody asked NATO to be involved. Did I miss where we went to NATO? NATO was not involved in Iraq or Afghanistan either.
Those country are supposed to be our allies. We just wanted to use OUR freaking bases. We know they have no military means worth a shite.
We've bailed those countries out so much in the last hundred years and now they are so high and mighty they deny the use of our own bases. F'em. They're worthless.

Also, I was illustrating an example of public sentiment from arguably the largest public forum of Europeans on the entirety of the internet. I never said it was the end all be all. I’m more than happy to provide links polling if that makes you feel any better.

If your measurement is purely on absolute income, then sure. But quality of life and overall cost of living give a more nuanced comparison.

I don't think you've ever dealt with poverty.... Being poor isn't working minimum wage.. Being Poor is 12-15$ an hour where you get 0 help.
Poor people get Foods Stamps, Housing Assistance, Free Health Care, Free Internet, and Free Phones...
People working for a living get nothing and can't afford several of the above items.
You're better off being extremely poor in America.

Just like we never lost in Afghanistan. that was a boondoggle that cost American lives and money even though we never lost.

I don't care how few lives we lose on this, 1 is too many. Anything above 0 is an American life that didn't need to end. I don't care how efficient it is, we never should have been there. Iran is not a "win at all cost" issue or really even a "win at the current rate of spending" issue.

yall must be too young to know better, or old and too senile to remember, but I was here for "no new wars". this is just another failure/betrayal by Trump.

also those attacks wouldn't trigger Article 5, because we attacked Iran first. anything that happens after we attacked them is our fault in terms of the NATO alliance.

Depends on the detail of the deal. the actual details, not whatever Trump claims.

my current belief is that currently, and for the next few weeks, Iran would accept a deal similar to what we had with Obama, that Trump ended. they would change some details so it wasn't straight plagiarism, but the bones would be vastly similar. Trump would then sell that "new" deal as the best thing ever, but when you look at the actual details it won't be different to an extent that matters.
