Iran

Quality of life is subjective, hence why I said arguably. But it’s well documented that Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, UK, France, Japan etc, have equal if not better living standards than the average American.

I do think America is objectively one of the best places in the world if you are rich. But being poor in America is certainly much worse here than it is any many of those countries.

All I’m trying to say is that most people from developed countries aren’t begging to come here.

I also don’t think people realize how terrible our reputation on gun violence is. I’ve encountered many Europeans who refuse to visit let alone live for that reason more than anything else. How we view Brazil is how they view us from their perspective when it comes to crime.

Our poor are arguably the richest poor in the world.

"Can"

A member country can petition for help for any reason. Doesn't mean it's going to be honored. You might have better luck asking to discuss the riots of 2020 again
Did we support the English in the Falklands war? We had a lot less interests there than the Europeans have in Iran. They should just admit that they are incapable of really being of any help and they don't want to upset their troublesome muslim populations.

All it takes is to go to r/Europe and type in America on the search bar to get a feel. I’ll actually just go ahead and do it for you.

If you consider the opinions on reddit to be the greater voice of any country... I understand why you think what you do.
Reddit is mostly terminally online, mentally ill leftist platform (maybe aside from bluesky)

I know MAGA does percentages and statistics differently than others. It’s pretty much tne only way to bankrupt a casino. Also I’ve never used Tik Tok a day in my life.
I'm not MAGA and you're not the voice of foreigners either. It's funny how we are so terrible, we kill our own, and we are too dumb to function; BUT you guys will cry and scream your lungs out trying to protect the illegals that enter America. You should care about those poor fools and want them in their safe 3rd world country... America isn't fit for them.

The UK didn't invoke Article 4 or 5 during the Falklands war. The US choosing to aid the UK in anyway during that conflict is irrelevant to NATO obligations.

NATO had zero to do with the Faulklands.

I must have missed where we invoked article 4 or article 5 in the Iran War.
No shite sunshine.
Those countries used to be our allies. Help, that what allies do. F'em. Just like y'all used to be Americans.

Not really

Key Privileges Poor Americans Have vs. Europe & Asia

  • Superior Material Living Standards: Poor Americans typically have more living space, higher ownership of cars, air conditioning, appliances, TVs, computers, and internet than low-income people in most of Europe and especially Asia.
  • Greater Consumer Abundance: Access to very cheap, high-quality food, clothing, and goods due to America’s competitive markets (Walmart/Amazon effect). This gives poor Americans higher actual consumption than the average person in many European countries and far above most of Asia.
  • Better Mobility: High car ownership provides freedom and job access that is rare or expensive for the poor in Europe (high taxes/fuel) and most of Asia (reliance on crowded public transport or scooters).
  • Targeted Healthcare & Supplements: Medicaid offers broad coverage for the poor. Combined with the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), working poor Americans often get significant income boosts not always matched elsewhere.
  • Higher Absolute Opportunities: Low-skill jobs generally pay more in purchasing power. Greater economic dynamism and lower barriers allow faster upward mobility compared to rigid labor markets in parts of Europe or developing Asia.
