If they didn't want nuclear weapons and weren't pursuing them, why do they refuse to give up their nuclear ambitions? It is the major sticking point in the negotiations, why? They are willing to be blown to hell for it, that shows you the level of their commitment.

The primary reason for 60% enriched uranium is for nuclear capabilities. You can argue from 1000s of miles away that they had no plans simply because you don’t like Trump and that’s fine but you cannot debate what 60% is used for as the hard part is done and only steps away from 90% which is nuclear bomb in the hands or a regime organization with countless terrorist attacks going back decades.
You may also say you don’t care if Israel or whoever is leveled by Iran because they “couldn’t reach us” but it would be officially WW3 if they did. Hezbollah doesn’t give a flip if the world burns. They try to burn it daily.

Grossi said the three sites at Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan bombed by the US are central to uranium processing, conversion and enrichment, but stressed that Iran’s nuclear program extends well beyond them.

“Iran has much more than these three facilities,” he said. “It has a very developed nuclear program, with research activities and many other sites.”

He cited Iran’s operating nuclear power plant at Bushehr and plans for additional reactors, including projects with Russia, adding: “Work continues in all these areas.”

If they were watching so closely, how is it they ended up making 500 kg of highly enriched mateial?
David Copperfield was on camera and a lot of people were watching when he made the Statue of Liberty disappear (Spoiler Alert: it was an illusion, it didn't really disappear), maybe he was in Iran too.
