Iran

KInda like going to the doctor and being told you have a tumor and it is growing. He recommends surgery followed by chemotherapy. You can say, "no thanks, doc. That may cause problems. I'll just wait and see how it plays out."

That seems to have been our strategy, just wait out this regime as they grow stronger and hope they'll change course and get better. Now, the solution is more difficult and the outcomes more dire.
You are correct and that is the true definition of sticking your head in the sand and thinking that your butt isn't showing.

You said everyone then post a couple of links you found quoting Dems. Not sure you really got the point

The bombing of Libya by Obama was wildly unpopular at the time. I was around for it. Heck we probably have a thread here on it
Well quite frankly it’s hypocritical as hell, did some more reading and found this
Very hypocritical that we condemned the Dems for it and then get frustrated when they condemn us for Iran. I looked at a chart for one of my political science classes and it showed how we have voted closer to the party and less to our party beliefs if it’s the other party doing what we support. My judgement was skewed I admit since I was largely going off of what Fox and my dad said the day we bombed Iran. That’s my fault

If you want some evidence there ya go
Democrats defending a Democrat isn't close to meaning everyone supported it. You have a lot to learn.

Cool just keep that in mind if things ever hit the fan here. You’d understand that’s just the way it is. People have to die for profits of the rich. Bombing them to oblivion killing innocent people is a weird way of helping them achieve freedom.
Did you ever see what we did to Japan or Germany? I don’t remember did anyone die? That was the last time we fought a war to win it untll now. That’s what it’s like, war is all hell and there ain’t nothing you can do about it. Surgery is bloody.

Its not a question of party politics, or at least shouldn't be, though of course that happens quite a bit. I'm still open to being convinced at some point that this was wise, or even necessary. Its just that Trump and the administration keep moving the goal.posts, its tough to take them seriously.

Like most controversial things, only history will tell and unfortunately that will probably depend upon who writes it.

Maybe not the best example given that surgeons and their teams take a lot of care to limit blood loss

We made them "illegal" by revoking their visas because of a relation to Soleimani that may not even exist
I believe that there was at less 1500 Iranians that we know about, that crossed illegally and possibly thousands that we did not know about. I believe the statement was that these Iranians were not related to that dude,
