Iran

It's the casualness with which you posted how Iran almost hit it with one of their strikes. Your outrage seems feigned.

You can be against what we did and are doing to Iran and also be against Iran destroying a significant religious site.

You seem to be confusing your inference with a statement that I have not made in this forum.

Based on your previous posts I would assume that you are talking about the sitting President as the instigator. EV you seem to be an intelligent person who has let hate skew all reasonable sense of objectivity. The instigator of what is going on over there started long before our current President. You have to truly understand the past in order to understand the present and have some understanding of the near and long term future. The Kurds could be the spark that finishes the job over there. There has been around 250,000 Kurds killed by various factions of the past 20 years. Maybe this time they could get something for the pain and misery.
The instigator of the current armed conflict is Israel's leadership. We're just along for the ride.
I have nothing against the Kurds and I wish them well. I don't think that them fighting Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Iran will end at all well for them. The only way I see it going their way is with a WWIII type scenario and let's hope and pray it doesn't come to that.
Who or what is it I hate?

I'll wear it proudly then.
I have to get back to paying taxes, have a great day!
Talk soon,
The great thing about this country that the founders made sure of is that you can feel or say things in this misguided manner and it's ok. We welcome everyone whether or not they adhere to your personal standards. If people want to settle here from another country legally, they don't have to meet any narrow standards. If they never learn English fluently, they can still live here as long as they follow the law.

100%. Case closed.

Get with the program or GTFO.

Only 1 type of immigrants/religion is responsible for 9.11, bombing the Boston Marathon, terror attacks at the Super Bowl in NOLA etc. That isn't just "not assimilating". Theres nothing wrong with having "China Town" in NYC and SF. Restaurants and shops that serve BOTH Chinese people and happily welcome customers of all kinds. Muslims are different. Period. They've already ruined the UK, Germany etc to where they canceled ALL public Christmas celebrations they've been doing for hundreds if not thousands of years...because the government admittedly cannot keep the public safe from Muslim terror attacks.

Many of us are NOT willing to let that happen in the US regardless of the cost. Period. So there are 2 options:

1. Curb immigration from those countries right now and keep muslim populations at minimal levels and very well monitored or

2. Eventual bloodshed when people take it into their own hands. Which will happen when/if terror attacks start taking place in the South. The well armed and largely Christian public here will NOT take the BS thats happening right now in Germany and the UK laying down. Period. Attack a Church, attack a Christmas celebration in the South and there will be bloodshed. Whether its right, wrong, or somewhere in between doesn't matter. It will happen.

So which is better? #1 or #2 ???

There is no option #3 just let the muslims instill fear in the public with their terror attacks and cancel public Christian and Jewish events out of fear like in Europe. That crap wont happen in a nation with over a Billion firearms in civilian hands. You can try to stick your head in the sand and ignore it but 1 of those 2 things above are gonna happen eventually.

Brilliant man discusses the "ungrateful immigrants"

Radical ignorance on full display.

I agree with your post. Nobody should be forced to assimilate whether they be immigrants from another country or natives migrating from on part of the country to another.

But with that being said we (in either scenario) shouldn’t be forced to accommodate.

i spoke to a Sudanese Muslim living in the uae and she isn't scared at all. said they have great air defense and they periodically get warnings to stay inside, then broadcast messages thanking them for doing their part.

dunno what relevance that has to the thread, but it's the best I've got

No, of course not. My point is that the millions doing it the right way is just as appropriate for this country as those whose families have been here for centuries. We were set up as a melting pot for anyone who does so by our Constitution.

I agree. I think a lot of frustration comes from taxpayer money going to accommodations made for those who don’t do it right.

You and your little group of circle jerkers on here give the impression you hope the US gets bogged down in a quagmire and ends up losers.
I don’t make posts mocking the US Navy (Trump, yes I do). They are quite capable, and they are just doing their jobs. I take zero satisfaction in any military failures over there, just because it makes Trump “look bad”.

That being said, if we step foot on those shores we will indeed get bogged down, and we will lose for it in the end.

No doubt. The problem with it is the residual fabrications and broad brushing that comes with it. Many feel the disdain for a certain group should be easily nuanced. It's multiples of a binary thought process

They attacked their allies, they pushed the Arab states into the U.S. camp. Tell me when that has ever happened? Saudi Arabia is talking about attacking Iran. If you don't see desperation and insanity in the Iranian reaction you are an idiot.
If you think the Arab Wahhabist theocracy was an ally of the Persian Shiite theocracy, you are an . . . uninformed gentleman.
