No, that is a proposal for a whole new class of „battleships“ armed with rail guns and missles. True battleships now only exist as museum pieces although the Navy is supposed to ensure that the four Iowa class battleships be preserved in such a state that they could potentially be called to service.

Unless we get invaded by aliens I just don't see how an Iowa class battleship would be used.

The democrats are not cooked because of Israel, they are cooked because they champion every issue that normal human beings find abhorrent. They align themselves with enemies of America. They protest for terrorist and foreign invaders. They support the mutilation of children. They support the murder of unborn children. Bottom line is democrats hate America and they don't tolerate any opposing viewpoints and to most normal sane Americans they look bat shite crazy.
Other than that they are doing well.

Those Phalanx systems are so ridiculous. All different kinds of rounds too depending on what you want it to take out. Imagina mounting something like that on an armored ground vehicle with solid rubber tires or tracks. Wouldn't be surprised to see something of the sort developed soon for taking out anti personnel drones and anti vehicle drones

Guys listen to this. The independent media is basically confirming what I've been saying this entire time. The United States is prioritizing the interests and protection of Israel above everything else. Even to the detriment of our soldiers and army bases.

They were so effective carpet bombing even in the jungle of Vietnam that we could have easily won the war if we continued that approach. Look up Linebacker1 and Linebacker2 in Vietnam. The only reason we didnt was politics and the MIC not wanting the war to be over. There isn't a country on Earth including ours that could make it through continued bombing of B52s once the air defenses are taken out. They can simply kill and destroy everything in a fairly large area sortie after sortie. Hopefully we never see that level of destruction and loss of life again. Once the SAMs and AAA are gone, and we are flying big slow bombers and tankers over someone's airspace...its all over but the crying. I am glad that we are using smart bombs though and targeted attacks to minimize civilian casualties as much as possible. We have no quarrel with the people of Iran, and are simply trying to help them win their freedom from their oppressors.

AC130s (J model?) Are so ridiculous. I have watched a lot of videos of them in CAS where our troops were surrounded or pinned down and the Herc showed up and laid down just unimaginable firepower "danger close" to our good guys on the ground. Flying those or an A10 would be so incredibly fun.

It would be used to sit in the strait of Hormuz ready to rain down about 20 tons of high explosive steel on any Iranian battery that dared turn on their targeting radar.
Add to that the fact that whatever the Iranians shot AT an Iowa Wouldn’t even dent the armor belt
