I get what you are saying. Let me clear it up, some things you ignore and say oh well that’s their problem. Some things (like a 9 year old little girl being forced into marriage, legal rape) isn’t one of those things.

It’s wrong, you can sit there and claim blissful obliviousness if you want. But it’s wrong.

It's attitudes like this that have gotten America into a lot of trouble through the years. We should not inject our values into other's culture.

It's also dangerous to assume that we understand everything.
I knew an Iranian woman many years ago who at one point talked with me about the custom of arranged marriages. Her parents were in an arranged marriage and it worked for them.
She also mentioned hearing about a couple of kids who were married as instructed by their parents.
I may get the details wrong, but it was something like a 9 year old girl was married to a 10 year old boy.
They were in some sense married but still grew up as a couple of kids. She talked about that as being weird but not horrifying.

43,000 murdered is horrific and needs American intervention. Thousand of African children dying of disease and malnutrition is a good reason to discard USAID.

Here is an interesting interview of someone interviewing Israelis in Israel. It confirms to me that the people there are willing to suffer if the IRGC attacks if it means it will help the Iranians in their fight against their oppressive government.

I will say this, not sure if Trump is thinking this or not, but getting Iran and Venezuela out of the orbit of Russia and friendly to the West would be a blow to Putin and his war effort in Ukraine. Notably if the oil from those two nations can undermine Russian oil.

I agree with this, but at some point when you run out of the weaklings then you need to jump on the bigger meaner dogs. If you don’t you look weak.

The current foreign policy by the administration is unknown to me. Seems all over the place.

I don’t know what the US has planned, maybe something none of us see coming? But Trump tweeting encouragement to the people of Iran and threatening the Islamic Republic if they kill their own is a bad look if he does nothing. Better not to have said anything.

It would have been better if he would have ran on a different campaign than to lick someone's boots and actually prosecuted pedophiles, it would have been better not to have said anything.

Exactly. While Russia in tangled up in the quagmire of Ukraine, we can facilitate Western governments in Iran and Venzuela and deal a crucial blow to both Communism and the Chinese aspirations of war. Let's see China go to war when we can cut off the supply from Venezuela which was selling 80 to 90% of their oil to the ChiComs. This is just a matter of striking while the iron is hot.

Let's not forget that without Iran's funding and weapons, Israel isn't constantly under attack from both Hamas and Hezbollah...both of which are primarily funded by the current regime. It will be great to put an end to that bullcrap...as well as getting rid of the government responsible for the vast majority of IEDs that maimed, killed, and handicapped US men and women in the ME.

True. It does seem like the Khomeni is holding on right now but I am not sure how long it can last with the economy broken.
