Its not like Israel is gonna tolerate any activity at these sites regardless...and our satellites are gonna be watching them like a hawk as they surely have been forever. Iran starts up enrichment again and the results will be the same or likely much worse next time. The important part is Israel has proven once again that Soviet/Chinese made air defenses and aircraft are no match for American made Israeli aircraft and intelligence...Israel will GIVE back control over the skies of Iran when and IF THEY decide to. Clearly, they will fly back in and TAKE that away whenever they want to as well. Complete and utter air dominance whenever they want it. That is the takeaway from this campaign. Israel doesnt need our help to completely wreck Irans military ANY time they want to...so the Iranian military only exists because Israel ALLOWS IT TO. Sure they love the Jews teabagging their government whenever they feel like it...

You might not be aware of the pulse in the Middle East but most people in that region hate their governments. The governments are mostly controlled by a few oligarchs that we prop up to do our bidding. Iran is our enemy because they're the only country in the region we don't control.

I promise most of the people in the Middle East would be happy to see the only country in the region not totally under the influence or control of America and Israel getting a nuke.

I think there are far worse things our government has done.

the issue most people take is to the way you define these "acts" vs other "acts". you aren't consistent. the bombs didn't magically appear in the bombers because someone waved their hands. the act of dropping them took a whole chain of events, just like any of the other worse acts you are dismissing.

a lot of people see it like surgery/amputation. yeah, its a highly traumatic, sometimes crippling act of intense, but directed, and specific violence, in order to achieve a better outcome. like yeah we chopped off the Japaneses' hand, but that allowed them to keep the arm. it doesn't dismiss the horror of taking a hand, but you also can't ignore the context of why the hand was taken when deciding if the act is good or evil.

I probably should have been more specific. The far-left holds the United States to an unreasonable standard and holds other nations, particularly non-Western nations, to essentially no standard.

For example, the United States is the worst country on Earth because we stole land from Native Americans, even though any nation that currently exists was previously occupied by some prior nation or people, yet they won't make a peep about gays being thrown off of buildings or being stoned to death today.

BTW, I actually make no claim to the United States being the "greatest country on Earth." I think the United States is a great country, I love my country, and I was incredibly fortunate to be born here. I have no plans or desire to live anywhere else and this is home. However, if I was born and raised in Switzerland, or Sweden, or New Zealand, or a bunch of other countries, I'd probably feel the same way.

The average Middle Eastern citizen was cheering for Iran in this recent war not Israel or us. You're delusional if you think the average Muslim is cheering for Israel or the United States in a war with Iran over nuclear capabilities.
