The firebombing by the US killed more than the atomic bombs. You’re cluelessWhy? They're at war just like us and Japan. Why would using nukes against non-nuclear Japan be justified but Russia using nukes against non-nuclear Ukraine is apparently not justified?
Its either wrong to use nukes when your opponent doesn't have them or it's fine. You can't have it both ways.
Turkey has beef with us. So does Qatar, they also have a vested interest in being friendly with us. The relationship with Turkey is luke warm at best. Qatar just likes our money and the defense we offer themOr they could just be like Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Switzerland, New Zealand, or 97% of the world's nations and just stop causing problems. Iran is one of a few nations that starts crap. If they behaved like a Qatar or Switzerland, they would be fine. Heck, even acting like Turkey would work. You don't see USA, Israel, or anyone having beef with those nations.
If this is actually true, I am all for continued bombing at those sites. This isnt something to half-azz. If you intend to destroy something, then destroy it. I am sure Israel isn't gonna let them just show up with bulldozers and excavators tomorrow and start redigging those tunnels though. Regardless of ANY ceasefire agreement. I would bet my balls that when/if any equipment shows up on those sites or even NEAR them that Israel will absolutely bomb them immediately. Israel cannot and will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. We will help them if necessary and I am 100% ok with that as long as we don't put boots on the ground, which we won't need to.
The great thing about studying history is there is always something new to learn. I am doing a deep dive right now on the end of the Roman Republic. Really awesome stuffThe government taught me very little about WW2. Most I learned on my own. It's a shame you are so jaded that you look at history through today's lense.
Do you honestly think that Israel and the US didn’t have eyes on that place the whole time? The real problem is that they probably moved the enriched uranium already.
In 1945, the world's population was around 2.3 billion. Key countries and their estimated populations include: China (around 267 million), India (around 300 million), British Empire (around 545 million), and Japan (around 71 million). The United States had a population of roughly 140 million. The world population had increased since the start of World War II, despite the conflict causing significant loss of lifeI am thinking of other humans. The bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima probably saved millions of lives maybe billions.
how did China get to 1B+ with the Cultural Revolution? 5X growth vs 2.5X for US.In 1945, the world's population was around 2.3 billion. So our Manhattan Project... Did Germany and Japan know about it? (No)
No satellite is gonna show dick about a mine shaft entrance. Hell they could build a mosque and put the entrance there. This ain't rocket science.
The Firebombing of TokyoArguably the firebombing campaign against Tokyo wreaked more damage and resulted in larger loss of life than the two nuclear attacks. (Edit to clarify, singular raids. I can see combined casualties of both nuclear raids being higher but not sure)
NOTE2.HTMyep seems nuts with the famine that killed 10's of millions in 1959/61
There is so much unbridled brutality in war. It's insincere to take an event or two and ascribe those as the worst atrocities. The Firebombing of Tokyo
The Rape of Nanjing
The Final Solution
All were worse than “the bombs”, and were from the same damn war.
