Iran

So here's the ugly truth about Iran...

The precident is in place with North Korea that if you obtain nuclear arms nobody f**** with you. That's just the way the world works. In contrast you look at Libya and what happened to its leader Gaddafi and yeah the world just said we're going to take you out.

He died with a bayonet up his ass. Literally.

So the sad truth is that it is in Iran's best interest as a country and more importantly from its leader's perspective... to get a get out of jail free card by getting nukes.

If I were them I would tuck tail at this point, pretend to get along with everybody and build a new facility so far underground that it's unreachable by any weapons and then build a bomb. And then a year or two from now, present it to the world and say hey we're now nuclear armed so you can't f*** with us.

I'm not advocating this. I don't like Iran more than anybody else here, but this is the wise path for them and I don't see how you prevent it. Unless there's a diplomatic route.

Last thought... We have nukes. Yet we tell other sovereign countries, you can't have nukes. If I'm that third party country I'm like who the f*** are you to tell me what I can or what I can't do?

Hypocrisy no?

Do we bomb The Bahamas into glass if its leader decides it wants nukes?

Just. Saying.

So, you think Iran can build a super-deep underground nuclear facility AND develop a nuclear missile in a year or two with none of their top nuclear scientists still breathing.

You really are a know-nothing clown.

I agree with what your saying. However, it's not that easy. Any attempt to build something underneath a mountain or that deep again will be met with immediate suspicion. And at this point no one is afraid of them. Israel won't let their proxies get that type of power again. The desire to blow their shite up early and often will be the move

So, shockingly, Trump lied.

Iran's nuclear program remains largely intact... Per OUR intelligence agencies.

Seems the dumb MAGA morons lapped up Donnie's ******** a bit prematurely.

All Trump does is lie and lie and lie and lie. Yet, you ****tards STILL believe everything he says. Why? WTF is wrong with you.

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.

The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

The analysis of the damage to the sites and the impact of the strikes on Iran’s nuclear ambitions is ongoing, and could change as more intelligence becomes available. But the early findings are at odds with President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that the strikes “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth also said on Sunday that Iran’s nuclear ambitions “have been obliterated.”

Two of the people familiar with the assessment said Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium was not destroyed. One of the people said the centrifuges are largely “intact.”

“So the (DIA) assessment is that the US set them back maybe a few months, tops,” this person added.

The White House acknowledged the existence of the assessment but said they disagreed with it.

It was more of a warning not to wager non-sanctioned snab (spelled backerds) in accordance with the VN Constitution and Bill of Rights and Wrongs.
We should probably just impeach the loser under the VN Constitution. Liberals have set a well-established precedent that any old made-up BS charge will do.

Without eyes in the mountain complex itself, I would think it would be hard to know how much damage was actually done.

In the satellite photo there are 6 holes, and grey/blue ash debris scattered a long ways from those holes. So we know something was damaged. Also, was there seismic activity reported in that location? Had to be a lot of earth movement with those explosions under ground. I would be curious to know how much.

So... What... Israel is gonna send ground troops in to invade a deep mining project by Iran?

IMO if Iran is dead set on getting nukes, they're getting nukes.

The exact same way we prevented it this time. It sounds like, once again, Israel's intel was spot on. There's really no reason to expect that Israel's intel in the region would not give indications and/or details, and that activity would get that ol' ace whooped again.

And they don't have to ask who we are to tell them. It may be hypocrisy. It may be playing the bully. But they know exactly who we are.

Iran seemed to need a reminder. The rest of the world got that reminder for free.

No, I just assume that you don't really believe that nonsense, so you won't put any real money on it. And if you're right, I'll gladly give an additional $1k to the best charity I know.
How about something a little more personal than money at stake then? If Trump is alive and well at the end of his term, and conducts a peaceful transfer of power, I’ll vote a straight republican ticket the next election cycle, but if he does not, you have to vote a straight democratic ticket. I’m assuming you vote in TN, meaning your democratic ticket basically means nothing, but I live in a swing state making my votes much more consequential. Fair enough?

So Iran avoids further bombing and gets oil sanctions lifted in exchange for just the entrance of a nuclear facility being hit?

And with Israel and the US's intel community watching like hawks. Speaking of such, Iran back to the negotiation poker tables with no their bluff called and no cards to play. Who has two thumbs and believes that unfettered access for inspections will show up on the flop?

It’s not about having a bomb. It’s about who has the bomb. If New Zealand had a bomb (don’t think they do) most wouldn’t care.

I think we have 4 scenarios related to our wager:
. 1. Trump talks a big game about not leaving and does not leave. 2. He talks big but leaves. 3. He doesn't talk (or not much) and doesn't leave. 4. He doesn't talk and does leave.

I am betting on 2 and 4. You would be betting on 1 and 3. Is that fair to you?
I don’t see how much Trump talks as comseqiential. Either he conducts a peaceful transition of power as basically every president has done before him, or he doesn’t.

No they are going to see on satellite and blow it off the map
No. No they aren't. They can't. Show me a bunker buster that penetrates a mile deep.

Iran apparently STILL has its enriched Uranium. Now they'll ramp it up to 90%.

Why wouldn't they?

Then they'll have a nuclear bomb.
