Iran

You're proud of this? I mean, I recall people on here going on and on about how much more "presidential" Trump was in carrying himself, versus Biden. This seems the antithesis of Presidential to me.
You obviously have missed the veritable flood of F bombs and other choice phrases from congressional democrats of late haven’t you?

I'm not proud of it. I'm laughing at it. But rebuking an ally and an enemy for mutually bad behavior in such disgusted fashion....this is one time where I don't mind his not being presidential. He's not bullying a person, or an industry, and he's not picking on a little guy. He's not embarrassing me with this speech. It's a dude at the end of his rope with dipshit behavior, and obviously I'm not a Trump guy, but I'll take this over Biden just absolutely complacent getting F'd in the B by Israel.
we have been on different ends of the dialogue lately, but I agree with you here. Feel the same way.

There have been various US sanctions dating back to at least February. It sounds like he is going to loosen those.

So once again, how is this significantly worse?
Sounds like Obama nuclear deal. The sanctions relief will generate billions for the IR

So they’re no wealthier than they were before he took office? That’s what I’m missing.

These were new sanctions under Trump. He’s taking those back. And you’re comparing that to the Obama deal?

Seems like a bad joke
Biden had it sanctioned too

Yes, but that has no bearing on whether Russia benefits or not from higher oil prices. They do.

In fact, Mr. Sabre-Rattler Medvedev had the following comments after our bombing run:

As news of the strikes broke on Saturday, the Pentagon was careful to say it was still assessing the destruction caused by the 14 GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs and Tomahawk missiles it fired at Iran's nuclear sites.

Medvedev wrote that the strikes had "entangled" the US in a new conflict. "A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads," he added.
My reply to that idiocy would be to threaten proliferation on their border. It's a stupid comment, but if anyone is dumb enough to supply them it would be Russia, perhaps N Korea

he was talking about kiddedoc who upped to a grand because he is a wealthy, overcompensated dr who bilks insurance plans.

...at least that's what I have heard about him.
I'm actually not a big gambler. I just have no fear of losing this one, and any money I can help send to SJH is a win.

The biggest wager I've ever made was when DK offered an insane boost on "Will there be a buzzer beater?" in this year's NCAA tourney, odds of +100 with no limit. My mathematician son concluded that there was something crazy like a 94% chance of that happening. Doubled up on $500.

Agreed. Medvedev is a blabbermouth Kremlin tool. He's Putin's pit bull on a leash.

But my sole point is an Iran v. US war would have been GREAT for Russia.

Now, thankfully, it may already be done.

Frankly, Iran proved itself to be wholly pathetic. A veritable pin cushion of a nation.

I'll give limited props to Trump on this one. Seems he and his gang called it right.... In the short run. But it's a long game.

Now if they can only figure out the Ukraine/Russia thing.

If their leadership stays in place they'll be back for another bite at some point I think.

I think the outburst at Bibi is pure theatre, considering the feaux fractures we have already witnessed,
