Previous page, CNN has a Ret Military analyst go over the satellite photos and you can plainly see the entry holes where the bunker busters penetrated. Ignorance expects there to be huge craters. Knowledge expects there to be tiny entry holes for bunker busters. They don't hit and explode. They penetrate and then explode well underground.

You can't pretend like Iran is an irrational actor by ignoring all our actions that have created this mess. We're the ones that cast the first blow when along with the UK we toppled their democratically elected secular government to install a dictator to do our bidding because British Petroleum wanted access to their oil. After decades of oppression by the American backed government of the Shah the Iranian people turned to Islamic fundamentalism. So whether you like it or not we caused this mess. And now you think the solution is more violence? Why would Iran ever stop if all they've seen is our unprovoked aggression?

I'm not saying we the American people endorsed our nation's actions in starting this mess with Iran. But we as the American people have to smarten up and realize that falling for the lie that these people just hate us for no reason is the tool governments use to keep us in perpetual wars. The Iranian people are not evil. Neither is their government. They have simply been acting in self-defense. We need to get our government to stop starting fights then blaming those that try to defend themselves.

It sounds like he's asking the Iranian people to make a regime change. That's how I read it originally.

Unfortunately the right has the same weakness as the left. Both can easily be brainwashed by appealing to their biases.

The left blindly supported the covid-19 hoax because science and doctors wouldn't lie to us. Their weakness is they respect authority from left leaning institutions like academia and medicine.

The right's weakness is bigotry and fear of the other. All you need to do is say Muslims are evil and the right will get behind anything. Fear and hate for Muslims supersedes common sense for many unfortunately.

I don't think it sounds like that at all. He said regime change is "not politically correct" which is because it tends to be external forces doing it, and then he suggested it anyway

How so? Why would Iran ever want to use a nuke against us? Because we're Christians? Well Russia is Christian, why aren't they attacking Iran to keep them from getting a nuke?

This fear mongering over Iran's nuclear program isn't grounded in logic or reason. It is entirely fueled by bigotry and ignorance. If we were to stop meddling in the Middle East and just focus on our homeland Iran would pay us no mind. The only reason Iran hates us is because we're the ones who have been messing with them.

If we weren't meddling in their affairs for nearly a century they would have a relationship with us like they do most other non-Islamic countries. The idea they hate us for no reason and will irrationally try to attack us the second they get a nuclear bomb is not grounded in logic or reason but is instead based on nothing but ignorance and hate.
