Trump leading up to election - "I'll end the war in Ukraine on day 1, ensure not a single dollar goes towards funding the war, and will keep us out of foreign conflict"
Trump 6 months in - Ukraine war status remains same, have increased funding and supplies to Ukraine, and willingly entered a foreign conflict

Trump supporters both times - hell ya!! So umm.. which one is it?

Oh and for a bonus, the FY-26 spending bill will be far and away the largest budget ever approved.. hmm

Its easy for me.
Ukraine has nothing to do with us, we shouldn't be involved there.

Iran is a direct enemy to the US and would nuke us if they got the chance.

I’m sure that I’m the only one…but having to use all of this sleight of hand isn’t reassuring. If they can’t be detected by radar then send them…drop the bombs and get on with the day. No I wasn’t in the Air Force and I’m admittedly no expert.

That’s reasonable. But he wrote the no new wars check and now he’s bounced it. That’s why I don’t trust him. He has zero integrity just like his predecessors.

No you haven't. If you had, it would be alright. I think there is reasons nations go to war and I don't think our leaders, past and present, make these decisions lightly.

However, MAGA has been huge on being the party that won't get us into these kind of conflicts. It comes of hypocritical as posted on here.

I'm sure we could of told them the time we would be there and it wouldn't make any difference in outcome but you don't want to take the chance.

Like the ghost army of blowup rubber tanks in Dover before the European invasion or the airdrop of parachute wearing dummies to think we were invading at Calais instead of our actual paratroops at Normandy.

The issue is your idiotic campaign rhetoric. It isn't the current action. Trump and MAGA went on for months about how we can't get into wars, how Ukraine would be over in a week, Iran would cave, etc.

The issue is that you don't write checks you can't cash. Maybe there is reasons like this that Obama bombed Libya, W Bush went into Afghanistan and Iraq, etc.

Ah... It's just about broad-brushing MAGAs. Carry on, then.

FTR, the loudest anti-Ukraine-involvement voices I saw in there, I wouldn't consider MAGA, and they weren't isolationist. They were pro-mineral deal as non-military deterrent to Russia, don't needlessly escalate with a nuclear power, don't mindlessly sink tax money into a war that Ukraine can never win.

Compared to:

Looks like they're trying to nip this nuclear threat in the bud while Iran can's win against us, hopefully to keep from having to pour money into a long war with a nuclear-enabled terrorist power in the future.

And we aren't in a new war. It was a surgical military strike. If you want to call it a war, it started in 1979.
