Iran

Sorry for your loss. The last few years must have been tough in losing Soleimani. Maybe the left can impeach Trump to distract liberals as you heal.
Noted liberal Thomas Massie made the post.

Nearly-dead warmongering buffoons that will never have to pay the price of these conflicts need to step aside.

He’s a very smart and principled man. He’s not any type of constitutional scholar. There are 1000s of legal experts who despise Trump. Let’s hear their argument.
We have allowed the POTUS to become extremely powerful. For better or worse, far reaching executive orders and military actions without Congress are part of the landscape for good and bad Presidents now.

Getting hot under the collar about Trump now is at least a 3 or 4 decades too late. While I'm not happy with having the executive branch be so powerful, I'm not happy with judicial overreach either, nor am I happy with one or two Congress members controlling and holding up things like court appointments.

I think it's bad for the system and bad for maintaining SOME trust in the system by the people. We need a system, simple and three pronged, that sticks to the rules laid out about the powers of the branches of Federal govt and doesn't ignore state's rights. It's very, very, very stretched currently in several directions.

The American system of government is the best in the world but that doesn't mean it's unbreakable in a lot of ways. The more we see it mangled, the more mangled becomes the norm.

Should a President be dropping bombs on his own? No. Is this a Donald Trump specific problem? Not at all. This is how America works currently.

Massie is a good dude, just dead wrong here. He also mentioned that congress needed to debate and vote on it. Declaring war? Sure. An operation like last night? LMAO. Our anti-American congress would have told the world what was coming. Can't have that.

Like clockwork.

Oppose war = anti-American, anti-semite, pick-your-low-IQ insult.

PS: if Iran has been "weeks away" from nukes for the past three decades...

Should the USA be involved in the military conflict between Israel and Iran? That’s another argument.

Now that the US is involved, it’s important that jointly, the US and Israel destroy not just the nuclear facilities, but also missile, drone, and weapons production facilities and stockpiles, air, sea, and ground military installations and resources, and key Revolutionary Guard and military leadership who would attempt to install a radical military dictatorship post combat and surrender. If moderate people in Iran are unable to exercise political power, Iran will rebuild itself as a similar or greater threat.

What’s lazy is taking the opposite stance and sympathizing with terrorism because POTUS went Boss. Isolationist will be the new Sunday term for progressives.
It was my hope that Israel would pummel the regime and the Iranian people would rise up (still a possibility). We would not have to step in.

Now that we are here , Iran has never negotiated in good faith. Trump gave them a chance. Their stall to live another day tactics aren't going to work this time.

No troops period.

Your party got military plans hacked and accidentally looped in a reporter. Wanting to keep Congress in the dark in the name of “Op-Sec” is a joke.

Not to mention Trump's own intelligence head is either totally incompetent (which I doubt) or is the one actually telling the truth about things while Trump blathers on like an unhinged moron while ordering strikes.

If you're going to respond and least post something relevant to the post with which you quoted. Good grief. lmao
What is it with the volume of people here that can't read? I assure you Iran will not target your trailer park- you don't need to believe everything the news tells you about our new boogeyman.

Israel took out leadership, missiles and made them think twice for not negotiating.

Trump ordered the war to end.

I'm anti-communist. Besides, congressional leaders were aware.

I believe your comment from last night was that only Republicans could be trusted because Dems would spill the beans. I’m not going to go back and look. If that’s not what you said then I’ll apologize. If it is what you said, then you essentially accused about 48% of the legislative branch of treason.

You obviously can't read, and still haven't taken the time to address my post that you quoted. You are clearly upset this morning. Take some time to relax. Reacquire your reading comprehension and come back to try again.

Zero dems can be trusted. Only a few republicans can be trusted. Congress as a whole cannot be trusted with information like this. There is a 110% chance the info will be leaked.

I am glad we warned them. Get the people out of the way, and we are going to make three stacks of gravel for you. Seems fair enough.

Like telling my brother that he is about to get a knuckle sandwich
