Just a guess, but this may have paved the way for Israeli commandos to go in and finish the job, setting Iran back for years. Where that goes or how that looks ten years from now, I don’t know.
I have my reservations about getting involved in this, but I don’t think we would have if most of the ME countries were not onboard with it.
