Iran

Trump campaigned on no new wars, yes?

That’s not the point. The point is…you claimed that Trump would bitch out and you were proven wrong in a pretty public forum.
If you want to say that Trumps a liar then I’ll hold your beer. But you can’t claim he threatened to bomb and then chickened out.

Im agreeing with his sentiment that there is now an opportunity for a negotiated deal on peace with Iran and Israel. Time will tell.
Iran is in no position to negotiate much. Israel and America could bomb them for the next 60 days and nothing could be done. They could take out every missile installation everything and there would be no serious casualties. So they should negotiate. If we're going to bomb them we need to set them back 25-30 years

Truthful, it is not a good thing that Presidents are making these kind of decisions without Congressional consultation or some kind of approval.

The bad side of it is are there any Democrats in Congress who could be trusted to consult with? Not many Republicans either if the shoe was on the other foot
if Congress is just approving action within certain limits then trust isn't an issue.

LMAO, no. Iran has been attacking us for the last 4 decades, and will continue to do so with or without these strikes. Biden just allowed every terrorist in the world who wanted to be here in the last 4 years. Obama and Biden gave Iran billions to fund their terrorism. Any terrorist attack as blame spread all around.

LMAO again.

Try thinking for yourself for once

I haven't seen any discussion here or on media about the potential for spreading of radiological material by these attacks. Anyone have insight into that ?

No way congress can know about these things, they'd just sabotage it.

There “may be a leak” is a terrible excuse for breaking the laws related to Congressional oversight. We may have just spent the last 18-24 months with Susan Rice and Jill Biden making national defense decisions. You think it might have been good for at least the GO8 to know what was going on?

How long can a president carry out Military exercises against the country before Congress has to step in and officially declare war? Isn't it like 60 days?

It said a single bunker buster can penetrate 60m. Pretty wild. It weighs like 13 tons.
Lots of debate on them. Part of Trumps hesitation IMO

"But the defense officials who received the briefing were told that using conventional bombs, even as part of a wider strike package of several GBU-57s, would not penetrate deep enough underground and that it would only do enough damage to collapse tunnels and bury it under rubble.

The defense officials were also told that to completely destroy Fordow, which Israeli intelligence estimates to go down as far as 300ft, it would likely require the US to first soften the ground with conventional bombs and then ultimately drop a tactical nuclear weapon from a B2 bomber.

The assessments were made by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), a component of the defense department that tested the GBU-57, as it reviewed the limitations of US military ordnance against a number of underground facilities."

Didn't Reagan Ask America to put a candle in the window of their homes while iran was being taken over by there current leadership? Contrast that to Obama when Iranians had a large protest against the current government. I believe he sided with the terrorist regime
