Being a "state sponsor of terrorism" is just a classification that we made up so that we could use US financial mechanisms to go after funding.

Russia funds terrorism all over the world, but we don't slap them with that designation because Trump believes he's in a bromantic relationship with Putin, and they have nuclear weapons.

The same goes for North Korea, we designated them a "state sponsor of terrorism", but we don't really do anything about his because they have nuclear weapons.

Where is the logic in not addressing their support and financing of terrorism in nuclear weapons talks?

I've said before iran is trap to draw away our military resources to weaken the home land and leave it open to invasion. The end game for trump is all of us dead. An election isnt going to fix it. There is no rule stating that every issue has to be contained in a single treaty. Treaties can also be amended. Tearing up the JCPOA had little to do with US interests, and a lot more to do with Israeli interests in having a pretense for the US to attack Iran with them.

The "state sponsor of terrorism" is 100% an arbitrary designation that we apply to countries so that we can enact sanctions and use financial instruments to try to curtail funding.

As I said Russia sponsors all kinds of terrorism in the world, and we don't slap them with the designation.
