Iran

If the Biden Administration had taken these same actions against Iran? Donald Trump, Fox News and the MAGA faithful would be doing the same thing. Trump would be howling that Biden / Harris were leading us into World War III. That's politics in 2026, and Donald Trump has been as polarizing, divisive and inconsistent as anyone when you contrast his presidential election campaign rhetoric with his current foreign policy approach in the Middle East.
“Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in a tailspin - watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate,” Trump said on Twitter in October 2012.

“Remember that I predicted a long time ago that President Obama will attack Iran because of his inability to negotiate properly — not skilled!” Trump said in a November 2013 tweet.

Critics have also pointed to a past statement from Trump’s deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller, claiming that Trump’s opponent, former Vice President Kamala Harris, would start a war in the Middle East.
“To anyone still gullible enough to fall for scummy media hoaxes: Trump said warmongering neocons love sending your kids to die for wars they would never fight themselves,” Miller said in November 2024. “Liz Cheney is Kamala’s top advisor. Liz wants to invade the whole Middle East. Kamala = WWIII. Trump = Peace.”

Good deal. List 3.
Openly catering to Putin while at the same time disrespecting Zelensky in front of world leaders

Promoting that Peace board or whatever the F it is and inviting Putin first

Standing in front of the world and dismissing the Intel that Putin is giving Iran targeting info on the US

Adopting Putin's plan for a cease fire with Ukraine

Dismissing in front of the whole world the intel that Putin was going after CIA operatives

Just a tip of a long list of documented events

Christian belief? Good heavens, no. The belief of the Dispensationalist heresy that calls itself Christian? Yes, by all appearances.
Heresy means something in opposition to the Nicene Creed. Interpretation of end times prophecy is a topic which has led to a multitude of different theories. You can say you think dispensationslism is incorrect; fine, don’t believe it. But don’t call it a heresy.
FWIW, even if several tenants of dispensationalism are fairly recent; the view that history will end with a period of strife and tribulation leading to the return of Christ has been held by a very large number of Christians since the earliest days of the Church and is a very logical reading of scripture

Can one person explain to me how this "surprised" this administration. It's the only big move they have and you went for regime change. Of course it's what they did

This is so effing stupid. The Iranian regime doesn't care about the citizens, they are expendable. In fact If they starve and tire of strikes their public opinion can be used as more propaganda.

This admin must develop a smart sound way of inspiring the people to rise up and giving them the means and support to do it....... And quickly.

Or admit their miscalculations and force a deal both can live with. I hold little hope out for the latter.

"...The reality in the strait has left diplomatic counterparts, former US economic and energy officials and industry executives who spoke with CNN in a state of confusion and disbelief.

“Planning around preventing this exact scenario — impossible as it has long seemed — has been a bedrock principle of US national security policy for decades,” a former US official who served in Republican and Democratic administrations said. “I’m dumbfounded.”

Shipping industry executives have made regular requests to the US Navy for military escorts, all of which have been rebuffed. In regular briefings for industry participants in the region, US military officials have repeatedly made clear they have not received orders to begin any escort operation and the risks to US assets remained extremely high, according to two executives with knowledge of the matter."

Just remember, when you fill up your tank this week, "we make a lot of money".

Thanks, Donald. SMH.

"...And while many Republicans are eager for him to refocus on domestic issues ahead of the midterms — and acknowledge Americans’ cost-of-living struggles — he struck a different tone on Thursday, suggesting there could be a benefit to higher oil prices.

“The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money,” he wrote on Truth Social, without explaining who he meant by “we.”

Has to be one of the top 10 dumbest things ever uttered by an American president

I wonder when the last time was that Donald Trump pumped gas into a car... or went to a grocery store... or did anything we peons do in real life.

The billionaire manchild is so disconnected from reality that I suppose we shouldn't be surprised by a damn thing he does or says.
