Iran

You pretend like this is the first time we've civilians or civilians buildings before.

Collateral damage is the norm for us, and has been since 9/11.
I am sharing my thoughts about the school.

If you want to discuss the disgust we share about the recent event, I am willing.

I don't have the time to discuss articles with a
bad premise, collateral damage to infrastructure, or death of innocent (non-strategic) bystanders.

And if Iran could hit it they would.

If our missile hit that school it’s terrible, it’s terrible the school got hit no matter who did it. If it was us it wasn’t intentional....
That doesn't cut it for me.

We should have a better standard than that especially in a "war" that isn't a threat to American lives.

Based on this, seems like we hit the building right in the center and didn't miss. If we just didn't realize it was a school and thought it was part of the base because it was next to it, that seems very incompetent

The fact that 40+ children lost their lives is a tragedy. The reality is the 25+ blood hungry terrorist we obliterated, were responsible for killing 1,000x times more of these Iranians within a few month span.

I realize for half the crowd, there is no win in this situation no matter the outcome. The best scenario for Iran is a world with the IRGC and our mission is to ensure that happens. If you are going to hate the U.S. for their decisions, you should hate the Iranian Terrorist even more. Eventually, you have to stop siding with the greater evil- Maduro, Iranian Islamic Terrorist, and so on…. The citizens that are suffering under these evil leaders are now celebrating a chance at life and you are pouting on an Internet forum while free of dictatorship, retaliation, and oppression.

He bombed a helluva lot. Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan, a hospital in Afghanistan.

My post was about Mike Johnson's double speak. So the response being "Obama did it" and your explanation being "bombed countries" it doesn't make much sense to me.

Yes, I was against all of that before, during, and after Obama did it.

And I'm reminding you that none of this is new.

And just like the other instances in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan, no one will be held accountable for those dead Iranian kids either.

They're a footnote in a DoD report, that someone will apologize for 10 years from now.

Your feigned ignorance of the last 25 years is tedious.

I can wrap my head around a "the end justifies the means" argument especially when it comes to warfare or conflict.

But not this bombing. Perhaps something comes to light which modifies my opinion. But as of right now, I am ashamed of us for killing children in school.

Seen. No reply worthwhile.

Why do people believe at this point in time the Iranian people will be better off? Rubio today said the goal isn't regime change. And hell even if the regime does change it doesn't mean the people are better off. See Syria, Lybia, and Egypt

If you think that Trump needs congressional approval to do what he's doing , you are the one brainwashed. There's literally 70 years of precedence.
A majority of MAGA would be throwing a fit just like the liberals are right now if it was Joe Biden or Kamala Harris doing this. Maybe you wouldn’t, but a majority would. My point was everyone will support their side no matter how wrong or right it is, liberals included. Right or wrong goes out the door once tribalism is involved

I understand your concern and share it in some ways. I'm more worried about the monster of government then I am the monster citizens

I fervently agree with this post, and I still support the death penalty in cases with overwhelming evidence like DNA, bloody fingerprints at the site, cellphones back up the physical and forensics etc. If there is any rational and reasonable doubt then I am against it. The death penalty is a complicated issue with lots of nuance. Moreso than abortion IMO.
