Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly called the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei a "cynical violation" of morality and international law, according to multiple outlets.
"Please accept my deep condolences in connection with the murder of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ali Khamenei, and members of his family, committed in cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law," Putin said in a note to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Reuters reported.

Thanks, Vlad, for confirming this was the right thing to do.
He's right. He would be, being an expert on cynical violations of morality and international law.

Never heard of the this source but apparently they are reliable news source in the region with connections to the Israeli government

"US official, via a mediator, proposed an immediate ceasefire; Iran rejected it outright, as Trump looks for a quick exit"
Then pummel the bastards

So you like it when American soldiers die protecting another country while the soldiers of said country hide in bunkers like women and children?

I don't know how you can be an American and not seething in anger at these images after hearing 3 of our soldiers just died.

You absolutely have no clue as to what you are talking about!

Fix your link. Its saying it can't be accessed.

Edit: thanks for fixing it. Nothing in the link about Iran specifically targeting Muslim civilians in those countries. Only mentions targeting US assets. Don't forget the point that was actually being argued.
It mentions the targets that I mentioned in my post, the airports, hotel and high rise apartments (referred to by neighborhood).

I do dispute the foundation of what you were saying by saying it's not a monolith. You're talking about the actions of extremists and applying it to all of Islam.

I might be about to completely blow your mind, but did you know the Quran advocates for peace towards other faiths?

As long as they pay the jizyah

So let me get this straight. You believe its the duty of the US government to prioritize the lives of Israeli citizens (i.e. our allies) over the lives of our own American soldiers?

I wouldn't sacrifice a single American life for the entire state of Israel. Our soldiers are supposed to protect us not another nation's citizens.
Nope. You do not have it straight at all.

I can write it for you; I can't understand it for you.

might be the new PrSM, 500 km range

Here's more from CNN:

A senior administration official said today that they believed Iran was preparing to potentially launch preemptive missile strikes, a factor that influenced President Donald Trump’s decision to initiate military action.
“We had indicators that they intended to use it potentially, preemptively, but if not, if not simultaneous, against with any actions against them, immediately against us,” the senior administration official added. “And the president decided he was not going to sit back and allow America’s forces in the region to absorb attacks from conventional missiles.”
“We are not going to be held hostage by them, and we are not going to let them hit us first, because it would have substantially increased the risk to our troops in the region and to our allies,” the official added.
However, a source familiar with the intelligence contradicted that assertion to CNN, saying that there were no indications that the Iranians planned to strike US forces or assets first — unless they were attacked by Israel or the US.

An Iran in the civilized world is dangerous in a good way. Think of how many mathematicians in college are Iranian 😆. They would kick butt and the gulf would now be fully peaceful and open to trade.
Maybe it's pedantic but Iran's been in the civilized world for millenia.

Hey D4H another aircraft carrier moving to the Eastern Mediterranean to protect Israel. 😂😃

Or maybe it is positioned next to Israel because Israel is at the Western end of the Mediterranean Sea allowing US carrier strikes from two different directions.
It's almost like the name of the game is to keep your carriers where they can strike but the enemy can't easily hit them back.

Pearl Harbor - thankfully our carriers weren't there as that was one of Japan's primary objectives.
Midway - we knew Japan's carriers would be there. They didn't know ours would. Guess who had carriers when it was over?

"Not making themselves exceptionally vulnerable means they're protecting......." Only D4H could double down on something this stupid.
