US, Israel attack Iran live updates: Israeli official says Ayatollah Khamenei is Dead, Netanyahu shown Photo of Body: Reports

The US and Israel launched airstrikes against Iran Saturday morning, with the initial attack near Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Tehran office.

A senior Israeli official told Reuters that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is dead. His body was reportedly recovered and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been shown a picture of it.

That was nearly 15 years ago.

Do you not think things change especially when your now the guy behind the big desk?
Of course it does. Nothing had really changed with them though, except him negating the nuclear deal Obama made with them, but is now trying to negotiate the same type of deal again. Also, WTF did the B2 bombing mission accomplish? He and his unqualified and incompetent SecDef both proclaimed the mission set Iran back years with their Nuke capabilities. Of course that was a lie. It was all a show. He's the laughingstock of the world but he does have the most powerful military ever, and that is problem for everyone else and us as a nation

It appears that the initial strike took out 30-40 leaders including the top ones, so I would say it's looking good
Apparently that's why we struck when we did. We got intel that a lot of command & control leaders were having a meeting.

That’s referring to actual regime change and not just killing the ayatollah. The regime is still intact and it’s hard to see that changing just due to his death alone
It's the "regime change" achieved in Venezuela, wherein the illegally-elected president was replaced by his own illegally-elected vice president.

Then why are they not using them?

Just like last June both Israel & the US are flying into Iranian airspace unmolested.

That's where the EA18 Growlers are using there counter radar ability and HARM missiles to take out radar sites. Iranian AA missiles are useless without the radar to lock onto a target.

Not to mention all those F16 that flew in over the last week or so from the South Carolina ANG and our units in Japan. They are masters at SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses)
I stand corrected. Our air force cannot be harmed. Thank you for learning me real good.

Seems to have been good intel. Now it's up to the Iranian people to change who leads the country, rather than just sitting around waiting for the next radical psychopath to fill the void.

The things that changed were us coming to an agreement with Iran and Trump scrapping it because Obama for a "replacement" that didn't happen

This is a far better option than the Obama deal that gave them billions and allowed them to still make nuclear weapons in the future

Iran attacked 7 Muslim countries today.

While the United States and Israel attacked the Islamic Regime, not the Iranian people.

The IRGC attacked all the surrounding Arab states.

I don’t know who thought up this brilliant strategy, but it’s going to strengthen the Abraham Accords like never before.

Peace in the Middle East is coming.

You have to wonder how this is going to effect future negotiations with other countries by the Trump administration (probably going to make things much harder going forward). It looked like Iran had agreed to give up their stockpile of enriched uranium, yet Trump decided to strike anyways.
