Bud, I’m not against you. I just try my best to look at every scenario and maybe I’m paranoid, but I just don’t think our elected officials always make the right choices or have the people’s best interests in mind when they do.
To put it mildly, I think they are all bought and paid for, power hungry, warmongers who look to benefit from the military industrial complex and big pharma.
Those are the two things plaguing the American way right now.
Big pharma got too big for their britches and the military industry said “hold my beer!”
That’s who is really running our country and influencing decisions.
Not the puppets in DC.

Now that you mention it there was a pretty good show called Dig. It was about the American right conspiring with ultra Orthodox Jews to bring about the end. As far as whether or not the IranIan’s are vocal about it….politicians and leaders don’t always say the Weird part out loud. Like Mike Johnson’s marriage.

If Iran was not sitting on a black gold mine and China wasn’t buying 90% of that that black gold, do you think our government would care if Israel and Iran were at war?

The Chinese Communist regime is having trouble controlling China, much less the world. They have delusions of grandeur and have destroyed the country, its economy and its population trying to execute those delusions.

Dunno. I would think we have some interest because of our relationship with Israel, but would it be to the degree it is now? maybe. I still go back to the war with the zealots that started in 1979.

Time to finish it.

I think it's about the danger of nukes and/or dirty bombs in the hands of a terrorist regime and those terrorist groups they sponsor.

Trump is not an isolationist. He's an America-first protectionist. Iran with a nuke is a major perceived threat to America and the world.

They have been calling the shots in our country for several years now.
I’d say that’s pretty impressive.
Controlling China and the US is quite the power play.
But a struggling/bumbling China is what the media and the propaganda machine want you to believe...it’s good for business.
We sold our sole to China and trump is trying to get a piece of it back.
Right or wrong, that’s what this all boils down too. We want to bust China’s balls and hit their oil supply. But a nasty little war between Iran and Israel is a much easier way to draw support from your people to accomplish the ball busting and still hold on to your poll numbers.

The problem is, we are still stuck in the 40’s and fighting over oil which we think leads to power.
China is developing quantum tech and AI at a rapid pace and soon that will be the determining factor in world power and economic domination.
