I lost a lot of respect for you during this game. I'm fine with losing, but you don't go for it on 4th, inside field goal range, up 38-7.

Good game mello...for me anyway. That's the best defense I've ever played against a good human opponent. I was stunned how good Missouri played. Obviously it would have been a lot closer if not for your team giving me the ball every time they got a chance past the 50, but I'll take it. I think without all your turnovers it would have been a tight one in the end.

Edit: I did the ask Corso and picked the play that popped up. I chewed the clock the whole second half and did mainly run plays...but my whole offense is based around passing so it is what it is. The times you stopped me was when I ran the ball 3 straight plays. It was a 4th and 1 anyway and my kicker sucks, maybe that's why it suggested a different play for me than a field goal. I think any team in real life even if they are winning comfortably would go for it on 4th and a short 1 on about the 30 something yard line, especially if they don't have a great kicker. (As I typed this South Carolina went for it on 4th and goal from like the 4 and they were leading) I only did what the Ask Corso thing suggested

why not go for it? Kicking a FG (sure points) there is running up the score. Run the ball, convert, and chew more clock up. The game is over.

Yeah it wasn't like I was trying to run up the score. I had it on chew clock the entire 2nd half (as did he), and ran the ball a lot in the 2nd half (I use Texas Tech play book so almost all of my plays are pass plays so he was able to stop my run for the most part). I would pass on 3rd down most of the time in 2nd half, just to try to keep running out the clock, and that was the only way I would have a chance to convert 3rd downs. The score would have been worse if I didn't have chew clock on and passed the entire 2nd half like I did much of the 1st, so I definitely wasn't worried about making it even worse for him like it seemed to him, I was just trying to keep the ball and keep the drive going. I think at the end I had the ball for either 14 or 17 minutes so I accomplished what I wanted to do there. But yeah if he stopped me on that 4th and 1 I doubt it would have been such a big deal to him. I didn't try anything tricky

You were on the 22...Regardless, in the 3rd quarter, just kick the field goal.
As I said, I'm not mad about losing. I've lost more times than I've won.
And if Ask Corso suggested that you go for it, it'd have suggested a defense instead of block kick. Plus it wouldn't have taken away points for going for it on 4th.

That's what it suggested, I don't care if you believe that. I was letting it pick my plays in the 2nd half, and then selecting mainly the runs that popped up. It didn't show field goal anywhere but a lot of pass plays and one or two runs. And I'm pretty sure it didn't take any points away for doing it, but I wasn't paying that close of attention. I do know that I finished with quite a bit of sportsmanship points, though. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with going for it on 4th and short, even if I'm winning. Almost all teams do that on a weekly basis when they are in scoring distance. It's the other teams job to stop it. It wasn't like I was cheesing and doing it the whole game, though.

But if I had continued passing the whole game and not running the clock it probably would have been a lot worse, so like I said it wasn't like I was just trying to run the score up or I wouldn't have been running the clock the whole 2nd half. You know that.

Plus, I doubt you were letting Corso pick your defensive plays at that stage in the game or you would have seen that it was basically suggesting I go for it, and not in field goal block mode for your defense.

Well are you advancing it before you leave (please say yes). Or maybe you have already, I just haven't had time to look yet.

Umm...I think we are around week 10 or so in the first season. We haven't advanced in about a week and a half though because IPorange is out of the country. So when he gets back we should be advanced. I'm sure you can get one of those teams because a couple of guys that signed up never log in anymore

Well, for the record, I don't have Live yet. I am an amazing recruiter, but not very good at the actual game.

Well let us know when you get it because this dynasty would be great if more people would play their games. I like the fact that it advances every three days generally because that keeps it moving and everyone should have at least enough time to play their game in that time period. I can't wait for IP to get back, though. This is the only dynasty I'm in right now and my team is getting better as the season goes along.

I think I remembered seeing on the dynasty that he hadn't logged in in over a month, he may be on autopilot, not sure. If he isn't on autopilot, he should be.

So, what decent teams are available? NC State, Kansas, and ???? I'd like to get in before the offseason starts.
