Whoever was Kansas before me (could just be the CPU) left me a bunch of garbage recruits. I can't decide if I should just clear the board and start over recruiting or just ride this class for one year.

The cpu does load the board with garbage... You should most likely delete the bottom 25 or so and reload. It will pick a few players you should deff. go after though.

Fair warning, if people don't play their games for a few weeks in a row, I might boot them to make room for people who will play.




Also fair warning, I will be going out of the country two weeks on a research trip starting Dec. 1. I will just the suspend the dynasty for that two week period until I get back. It will probably coincide with the end of the first season.

Duke had over 300 yards passing and forced four turnovers but I still beat them 70-24.

I guess autopiloting is in order. Sorry Big Train. If this becomes a chronic problem with human opponents, I'm going to have to bump you until/if your connection arrangement changes.

I will see if I can knock my stuff out when I get home late this afternoon. I started to do it yesterday then my Xbox froze up. Then I turned it back on and got 3 red lights. I left it off a while and kicked it back on and it seemed to be working ok again. I hope its not about to crap out on me but if it is I will just have to get a new one in a month or two. Just got a new job that I start next week and between that, the baby, how the bills will fall, and Christmas I couldn't replace an Xbox right now.

Anyway, if everything runs ok I will get this taken care of this afternoon.

Oh, and I don't know how the advancement schedule will go this weekend but from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon I will be out of town in Charlotte for the World of Outlaw World Finals so I won't have access to my 360 until Sunday night after Friday morning. Hope it doesn't mess anyone up.

We're going to Advance on Thursday, so if you get your game in that evening there won't be a problem.

Internet is working fine. It was screwy for everyone in my dorm the last few days, but I just played my friend without a hitch.

Big Train, I was given about 20 videos from one of your games with Bassman. In it, it was apparent that you do run the conceptual equivalent to the infamous "Toxic Donut Defense" (hereto referred to as the TDD).

To be crystal-clear, the TDD is when one selects "show blitz" 90 % of the time when not in definite passing situations, in formations with 3 D-linemen primarily, even though only the linemen are actually blitzing. This is considered cheese and unacceptable, as it snuffs out the run game while still completely covering the passing game. In real life, this would easily be beaten by throwing over the top of it. Alas, in an effort to correct previous passing cheese, the developers have made passing a quick deep ball on anything but a busted play near impossible.


Running the TDD is not only cheap and lame, it has also been linked to latent gender identity issues. I urge you to seek help.

Because of this, I am regretfully asking for your resignation. Either way, Penn State is about to be hiring.

Know that this matter was only deliberated on by me and was done so with a fair and even hand. There is nothing emotional or personal about this, as I don't really know you and have never had any direct dealings with you whatsoever. I only acted now because I was given overwhelming and compelling video evidence. My decision is final and is not up for appeal. if it was incorrect, that's collateral damage I will have to live with in the never-ending war on Cheese. The positive of this is it sets a high precedent for fair simulation play, which is what this dynasty is striving for. It wouldn't be fair to the players I know to be solid and non-cheesing- players like Bassman, Skullgrind, Mellovol, DownNDirty, and many others I have not yet had the pleasure of ever playing to allow the TDD to slide.

Please return your whistle on your way out the door. Good luck out there.

I ran a dime almost 3/4 of the time I have played Bass.... That is ridiculous. I never "show blitz" and I never "cheesed" If it had been a problem you think he would have said something? But I am guessing that this is all a hoax to get me rilled up. So I really don't care. If you want me to quit thats fine, I don't need to play where I am not accepted.

I have LOTS of videos. It's not a hoax. You are right though, you should try and find a place to play where your style is accepted. There are some out there.

LOTS of videos... from 5 games.. That is about 250 plays? So you have 20 out of 250 plays and you think that is all I do? Don't you think he is going to pick out the "cheesiest plays" and show them? That is ridiculous.
