I currently own a 4S. Just looking for a change. Not dumping the iPhone completely.

Well I hope you enjoy it. I think the iPhone is an awesome device as well. I just happen to favor Android myself. Just like I prefer Coke to Pepsi, Ford over Chevy and Krispy Kreme to Dunkin Donuts. Its all a matter of what you like and are comfortable using.

That said, Ive never liked Apples way of conducting business, but thats a different debate. As far as designing great products, Apple is a leader in the market without a doubt.

I am thinking about going back to iphone because of the battery life.
I use to charge my iphone nightly. I have to charge the droid every 4-5 hours.

From what I've read one major reason is the difference in multitasking. iPhone pauses apps as you switch away from them where as droid lets them run. Also those home screen widgets and such continue to run too.

I've heard the droid RazrMax has outstanding battery life though.

The iPhone has better battery life than most Android devices mainly because it has a much smaller screen and does not access 4G LTE networks.

The Charge has one of the worst battery life ratings among Droids and is using technology from at least a year back. While I will agree that Iphone has a better battery life than the better Droids, you can do a couple of things like PJ mentioned to get better battery life.

I use go launcher and it has a widget called switch. It helps adjust several things. I don't use hectic and GPS as well as a few other things. Also, check out the super tool box app. It works great also.
