I disagree with your reasoning as to why some like the Droid. I personally owned and extensively used the Blackberry (my company even has the Enterprise Server) for several years - both before the iPhone was launched and afterwards - but when I decided to switch, I got a Droid.
That a kindergarten child could use the iPhone is axiomatic judging by the few Apple users I've met.
My AT&T contract runs out at the end of the month. I've been debating on getting the Motorola Atrix or wait for the iPhone 5. I currently have the 3GS, but my dad has the Atrix and it's a really great phone. I can't decide which one to choose.

Screw the iphone. Just because apple makes it doesn't guarantee that it is great.
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Android phone and I love it more than my wife's iphone.
Posted via VolNation MobileThe best comparison that I have learned, by using both Droid and Iphone, is that and Iphone is more for a person who wants a simple smart phone to use right out of the box and never do anything else with it. A droid is for the person who is a little more technologically advanced, and can take the phone out of the box and instead of just "take out and go" it's more of a "take out and customize to what YOU would like"
Moral of the story, when faced with the choice of a droid or an Iphone, I chose the droid. I have the X2 and love it, never regret my decision.

I think the moral of the story is when you don't have a clue what your talking about just make bs up.
